"This store is amazing. Free samples are given out like candy. Smart, because I went out the door with so much more as a result! The cheese/meat selection is incredible and the quality of the products is top notch. There's no need to drive down to Arlington to pick up my Italian groceries anymore. Highly recommend!"

"My wife and I are now hooked. Ordered the Speck & Asiago Fresco sandwich and the Porchetta & Asiago Fresco sandwich. Both were out of this world! I stopped in when they first opened in July, but they didn't have sandwiches yet at that time since they had just opened. Now I regret not returning sooner. David, the owner, was very friendly, and you can really feel the compassion he has for Cafe Bortega. You don't have to know anything about Italian ingredients to enjoy what Cafe Bortega has to offer. David and his staff will guide you and offer you samples. Do yourself a favor and don't drive past this Leesburg gem again without stopping. My wife and I will be coming here again and again for the foreseeable future"

"Great shop/restaurant where EVERYTHING is imported from Italy! They have a vast array of Italian meats, cheeses, sweets and other delicacies. We ordered a delicious pizza-like dish that was out of this world and took home Italian cookies. I will be going back to make gift baskets for holiday presents!"

"Stopped in to check out this little Italian place with low expectations after living in Italy for a couple years. The owners were incredibly welcoming, proud, and excited to share their new caffe! They didn’t have the exact sandwich I was looking for but were super quick to make one for me just how I wanted it. It was absolutely delicious and quickly took me right back to Italy. I’m super excited to have this gem right down the road and look forward to many more visits."
