Reviews
"This Weis is literally the worst market around. The tall black lady employee with very short hair who mans the customer service and self checkout is EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. She makes the entire store and experience something you want to avoid. On top of that they don’t accept returns even though they sell (very) expired food and the prices are outrageous. Shop anywhere else."
"I recently reviewed this store with three stars, with my only complaint being that I often pick up expired food and started checking dates more closely before purchasing. Updating this review to note that I shopped there the other day and forgot to check all of my items; I came home with three expired items (by months not even just a few days. Also would have been more because I picked up other expired food but checked the dates and didn’t purchase those). Unacceptable. Oh, and we also noticed the smell of rotting meat while there. You could smell it in almost the entire store. I highly recommend going somewhere else for your groceries."
"I received a friendly greeting immediately upon walking in the front door and was asked if I needed help finding anything. I indicated that I was looking for a peticular brand of crackers and the same employee walked me to the location and pulled some down from the very top shelf with the help of a latter. I was in and out of the store in less than 5 minutes! I will definitely be back tomorrow for all of the ingredients I will need to make my holiday buckeye peanut butter balls! They employe very friendly and helpful people at this store!"
"My husband bought some aluminum containers here but ended up not using them. He went to store to return and was refused because “product was not damaged” (in the lady’s words “nothing wrong with the containers). I mean, who buys product with visible damage? They’re brand new, unopened, and expensive. That’s why it was worth a trip to return. Ok, so no return of product that is not bad. I went to return meat that are bad (disgusting odor after I opened it). I was told no refund since “they were marked down, final sale”. I understand the marked down piece, but when I asked “no return even though they’re bad?” I was told “that’s why they're marked down” as if they intentionally marked down meat knowing they’re bad . I’m not sure if that’s the way to do business. I’m fine with not getting refund for products that’s on final sale. But concerned with store selling meat that’s bad. In short, my experience with this Weis store is- there is no return or refund what so ever regardless unopened product or meat that went bad. Hence, everything final sale (unless the ladies up front feel like doing a return transaction for you- good luck with that)."
"I eat as natural and scratch made as possible. I don't shop here much, but I do get some nice deals from time to time. I shop for deals and never just shop at one place. This how I fed my kids. All day, every day. Response: I have nothing further to say unless you pay me substantially (on an executive pay scale). My point of my post is because I raised kids (fostered too) with no allotted assistance that I was supposed to receive by law. I was homeless for 9 months by myself and received ZERO assistance. I'm not on drugs, drink excessively, commiting crimes, and/or prostituting to survive. This is who receives the help. Not the one out here doing what I'm supposed to do. My government showed no care for me, my kids, or my home. So, I'll do what I do all the time. Save myself. And the men out there chose someone who serves them powdered macaroni and cheese and/or burns water over me. My time is not free. I have two decades of community activism under my belt. My kids, coming from a single-parent home, weren't given opportunities unless I stepped up to volunteer my time. That's because all other kids with married parents that had money to pay for clubs and other things were considered over my kids. Nobody stepped in to help with anything except discount registration fees because of the funding I was pulling in for them. I worked extra jobs to pay for uniforms and all necessary items needed. And I remained their cheerleader and encourager the entire time. It was admired and respected. But no one offered or stepped in for funding anything. And my kids were due child support and funds that never came despite my efforts for two decades. My kids do NOT know anything about any of this. No man wanted me. They wanted the one not doing any of this."
