Reviews of Happy Nails
"I went last week to get a dip full set. The next day two of the nails broke. I went back to get them fixed and then the next day another nail broke. They are very nice but the nails should at least last two weeks."
"Went in asking for dip powder. Was told that was $45- I went to check out and my total was $73… they never mentioned that French and designs were more- usually you get charged a couple bucks for a design- I also got the design on two out of my ten finger.. not a full set with a designs… WHAT A RIP, NEVER AGAIN"
"Please do not waste your hard earned $$ here. You never know what kind of service you will get here. I’ve been coming here for many years. The service has only gotten worse. Today was the worst experience ever. I’ve given them a chance after chance. This was not a one time thing. But for convenience sake, I kept coming back. In case you’re wondering, I have used 80% of their technicians. More than half of them do not give a quality customer experience. There are so many wonderful nail salons in this area. This nail salon really should know better."
"I had my last bad experience at this establishment today. I've been going exclusively to Happy Nails for the last four years. Their work used to be long lasting before the pandemic, but afterwards the quality kind of fell off. The last couple of times I went my dip nails kept breaking. At first I thought it was just me doing strenuous work, but this last time proved me wrong. I went in on a Saturday because I wanted my nails done for the next Saturday. When my technician was done I could see the line where my flesh ended and my nail began beyond the red color I chose. I thought it was a little thin since they only dipped my nail twice in the powder, instead of the usual three times, but I didn't want to be a bother so I just let it go. By Friday my pinky nail had broken off. This was the night before my big event at work. I was so upset! By Wednesday four nails had fallen off completely. I stopped after work and asked for a refund. The nails hadn't even made it to two weeks! The owner said they didn't do refunds. She said, "We fix." She wanted me to pick out a color right there and then, but I had tonget home. She said I could come the next day. TODAY. Today I went in and instead of choosing dip I thought I would make it easier on them and just choose nail polish. The owner recognized me right away and sent me to a chair. Once I sat down and they got done with the cleaning portion of the manicure, they asked me to pay up front. The discussion ended in the owner saying I ripped off the rest of my nails and she could not fix them so I had to pay again. Nope. No thank you. It was their shoddy handiwork that let my nails get caught in my hair this morning and be pulled off, so no I wasn't about to spend money to replace a job horribly done. They lost a long time customer, but I guess that's how it goes. I can no longer recommend them."
"A guy did my acrylic set. They came out a little thick, chunky on the sides and near cuticles, didn’t push back cuticles (which makes me need a refill faster) and the paint didn’t go all the way to the sides on some fingers. He also filed the edges AFTER the polish dried so it started chipping the next day! The place was nice and big and had a good polish selection but if your picky about your acrylic and want your polish to last more than a day I don’t recommend them"
