The Amberson House Bed & Breakfast

"We stayed here one night (in the Honeymoon Suite) to attend a wedding nearby. The Amberson House is a wonderful property. The room was spotlessly clean and very thoughtfully decorated. The people who run this Bed & Breakfast are extremely friendly and hospitable and communicate with you well. It's located right on Main Street in central Waynesboro but the entrance is through the back, via Gay Street."

"A wedding party I was a part of stayed here in April 2023 and was such a rare and special place to stay and can't wait to go back. Amanda, the inkeeper, was exceptionally warm and welcoming throughout our stay and very accommodating to the chaos that a wedding weekend can be. The breakfast prepared for the wedding party was next-level and we thoroughly enjoyed all of the common spaces throughout the house and in the backyard. The attention to detail and thoughtfulness throughout the place was apparent from the moment you walk in and I felt very at home. I cannot recommend this bed and breakfast enough, definitely worth a stop in beautiful downtown Waynesboro!"

"This B&B is wonderful. We had to make a last minute trip to PA for a funeral. It was a difficult trip but Amanda welcomed us into this beautiful home and made us feel at ease. She pays such close attention to detail and is extremely thoughtful. Her kindness and hospitality were greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking such amazing care of us during our stay. I would definitely recommend The Amberson House to anyone visiting the Waynesboro area. The room was very comfortable and clean. The location is right in the center of town with restaurants nearby. The dining room has a tea/coffee station with fresh baked goods available for guests to enjoy anytime."

"Sometimes the right people come into your life at the right time. Amanda and Emily were amazing hosts that we genuinely loved meeting. Their individual personalities touched every aspect of the Bed and Breakfast and led to great conversation through out the weekend. Their warmth came through in everything and that made the Bed and Breakfast a perfect getaway for our anniversary weekend. They were knowledgeable about the town and area, and everything they created in the kitchen was delicious. The themed rooms were all fun in their own ways (we peeked in the open ones). We loved the castle room which was the one we had selected for our stay. What we had planned for a one time getaway ended up being a destination that we cannot wait to repeat."

"Amberson House should be called "Amanda" House as innkeeper Amanda is amazing.She is totally interested in catering to your needs and making your stay as comfortable as possible. I stayed in "Out of Africa" and the queen bed was both beautiful and comfortable. Oh did I say the pillows were exceptionally comfortable also. Breakfast presentation could pass for an upscale restaurant and was tasty. The B and B was a nice change from boring hotels driving across the country and extremely affordable."
