Reviews of Inn BoonsBoro
"Inn BoonsBoro is a great place to stay! Located in Historic BoonsBoro, each room was named and delicately decorated to reflect descriptions of a literary couple. Guests can access the library and enjoy many books. The dining room and reception area were beautiful, welcoming, and full of delicious goodies. All the staff were very friendly and offered exceptional services with genuine care. We also really enjoyed the breakfast (freshly made in the kitchen!). It’s a cute and homey Inn worth a visit!"
"We stayed here end of November from Tuesday - Thursday. One night there was another couple, the other two nights we were the only guests. It was pretty awesome! We absolutely loved the atmosphere and ambiance of the whole place. Between 5-7 every evening they put out wine and charcuterie. The first night we came back too late & missed it. Didn’t make that mistake again! The breakfast all three days was absolutely delicious. There was a small appetizer followed by the main course. The first day the appetizer was an apple muffin with butter cream icing followed by a mushroom and cheese frittata. Second mornings breakfast was custard with orange slices followed by scrambled eggs with sausage and potatoes. The Third breakfast was raspberry puree topped with granola followed by fried eggs over mixed vegetables and sausage. Did I say we loved the breakfasts there? Each room has a different name out of Nora Roberts books- along with individualized soaps, lotions, conditioners and shampoo. We stayed in the Westley & Buttercup room - and loved the gas fireplace at the foot of the bed. The staff were all super kind and friendly. Highly recommended staying here!"
"Stayed here many times over the years. Always had a wonderful time. Karen, Michelle & Kelsi always went above & beyond for guest and caring for the Inn. Was just there recently and was very disappointed in the customer service and breakfast being served . Very unprofessional staff except for Bobbi who was very friendly and accommodating during wine and cheese. Breakfast was mediocre at best and service was anything but friendly. While I love the Inn, for the cost of a stay, staff needs to be trained better and breakfast needs to be stepped back up to where it was before. Sad when you don’t appreciate great workers and think they can be replaced with just a body!!"
"What a fabulous place. My wife and I stayed there for our 25th Anniversary in Jane and Rochester. Everything was just wonderful, the attention to detail is off the charts. The staff was great, the breakfasts absolutely delicious, and everything about our room was awesome. Best place I have ever stayed but my wife would like some Dr Pepper in the fridge when we come back next time."
"My wife and I recently stayed here for our anniversary, and it was amazing. The Inn is a beautiful building and they have a great staff. From the tour of the facility they provide at check-in to the breakfast in the morning, everything was perfect. Never started breakfast with a dessert before, but I am a fan! My wife loved the one dish so much she asked if she could have the recipe and they happily provided it. If you are looking for a B&B in the outskirts of Frederick MD, you can't go wrong staying here. One note, the fire house is directly behind the inn. If there is a fire call the station siren will sound. Luckily for us it did not go off during the middle of the night while we were there, but be prepared as it could wake you up."
