Dr. Rowan is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. He became the owner of Paoli Vetcare in 1996 and is a proud parent to two young men. Dr. Rowan lives on a historic farm in Chester County with his wife and co-practice owner, Dr. Erin Downes.

Dr. Erin Downes is a compassionate pet enthusiast and a Fear Free® Certified Veterinary Professional. She is dedicated to creating a healthy and joyful workplace for the staff at Paoli Vetcare. Dr. Downes has a wide range of experience in treating various animal species, in addition to dogs and cats.

The institution also welcomes Dr. Carol Santore, a Fear Free® Veterinary Professional, and a USDA-accredited Veterinarian. Dr. Santore believes in nurturing the veterinarian-client relationship and delivering the best possible care for pets. She has a special love for animals and has pursued a career in veterinary medicine to help them.

Dr. Lauren Trusa will be joining Paoli Vetcare as a full-time associate veterinarian. She brings almost ten years of experience in small animal veterinary care, with a special interest in dentistry and surgery. Dr. Trusa is dedicated to developing relationships with clients and providing top-notch care for their pets.
