"Great customer service. Awesome receptionist. Doctors are highly vast and knowledgeable in their delivery of diagnosis and treatment protocols. Highly recommended. They continue to take care of our lovely pets."
"I would not recommend this place. We had taken our 15yrs old cat in. They changed 75.00 for the visit and wanted to charge 1,000.-1,300 for bloodwork and exray. Talk about "red flag." We took our cat home and did some research. From what we found, that price is ridiculous! We took our cat to a different veterinarian, All Animals Veterinary Hospital. Cost for visit, bloodwork, and exray 500.00. Huge difference! What a scam! And shame on VCA for that!"
"I took Eddie (Boxer dog, 75 lbs.) to have his shots updated for boarding purposes. I was able to easily schedule an appointment over the phone without trouble, with multiple days and times offered. Upon arriving, we were greeted promptly at the front desk with friendly and knowledgeable staff. The facilities appear clean and modern. After a short wait, we were escorted to an examination room for pre-screen. The vet tech was also friendly and knowledgeable of the facility's services, costs of services, and potential payment options while taking Eddie's information and basic measurements. After the pre-screen concluded, we had another short wait until the vet saw us, gave a more thorough physical exam, administered the updated shots required, and had Eddie briefly taken into the back to have blood drawn for bloodwork to be sent out. The vet then spoke with us about what I should expect as far as follow-up well-care requirements going forward in the near future, all of which were presented in a detailed but low-pressure manner. We were told that we would receive a call detailing the results of Eddie's bloodwork in the following 2 to 3 days. Eddie and I then checked out at the front desk, where we opted for the monthly payment plan (covers all vaccines, well-care "non-emergency" visits, etc.) which I would not describe as cheap, but given what vet visit costs are, it is definitely reasonable in spreading those costs out over time. Pet insurance, which would cover emergency visit costs, is available through a 3rd party agency there, although I didn't explore that option at that point. We left, and the vet called a couple of days later with detailed results of Eddie's bloodwork. Overall, a very positive experience while Eddie and I were there, and I would definitely recommend."
"We drive an hour to take our dog here. Why? Because AVH is the absolute best. Our Staffordshire Bull Terrier Royal lived to 15. His life expectancy was 12-14 years... He lived as long as he did because he was under Dr. Dymond's care. She removed one of his toes because it was cancerous. It healed perfectly! You couldn't even tell that he was missing one of his toes because it looked normal and he walked normal. He felt so much better after his toe was removed and had more pep in his step. I'm thankful that he lived a long happy life. I credit Dr. Dymond for his longevity. She was always there for him. Our new Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppy Peppercorn is an AVH patient as well. We signed her up for VCA's Care Club. It's a much better deal paying monthly than dishing out a chunk for each visit. If you're looking for a vet that won't stress you out and give you peace of mind, look no further."
"Dr. Case has been wonderful to my puppy, Marla. She is a very hyper lab, which I know must not be easy on our vet but they are patient and treat her nicely. Photo evidence of my good ball pup."
