"I was diagnosed with Guillaume Barre Syndrome when I was 17 years old. When I was released from the hospital, I was paralyzed from the extensive neurological damage and was given a script for physical therapy three times per week to gain back what I lost. When I say Heather and Carolyn were my rocks, I do not say it lightly. They took me from walking heavily on a cane, to past where I was even before I became sick! They not only showed skill and knowledge in their field, but also compassion and care when my mother died suddenly before one of my therapy sessions. They came to her funeral to support me and my family and made sure I received the mental and emotional help I needed. It took a year and a half to get better, but they both were with me every step of the way. I will always recommend VCU Pediatric Physical Therapy to anyone in need."
"I cannot give this place more props! I had to take my 2 year to get her heart scanned and checked and the entire experience was amazing! They let me lay down with her and she fell right asleep during the scan! Wish I got the ladies name who did her scan but she was the sweetest and I couldn’t thank her enough. Dr. Brad McQuilken saw my daughter and told her results and he was by far the kindest doctor I have ever met. He explained things in a way I could understand so I knew exactly what was going on with my daughter. I was so nervous and he quickly put my fears to rest and I really really appreciate it. Great place for kids!"
"I’ve been trying to schedule an appointment. Waited 26 minutes just to be hung up on. I will not be calling back. It’s ridiculous to wait that long and not speak to one person. I don’t even want to think of how their office is if they can’t get a hold of their phones."
"I am not one to write bad reviews. But WOW, I came here because my toddler was LIMPING, and the surgeon disregarded her limp, the swelling in her foot, and my anecdotal evidence of a problem. She recommended I ignore it and come back in 6 months... She needs to re-evaluate why she's a physician if she cannot be bothered to care for the small children that come for help. Needless to say, I had to go elsewhere."
