Reviews of Wallenpaupack Veterinary Clinic
"My whole family uses this vet. They are the absolute best. They’re very knowledgeable caring, kind and efficient from the doctors to the staff. Very fair pricing too!"
"During an extended trip to my old neighborhood at my Dads home in PA I called on what I thought would be my old outstanding veterinarian that did an emergency neutering on my toy Dachshund ; Dr Zebnowski . He performed this many years earlier on a closed Sunday to save her and did a miraculous job wich I was so grateful for and have never forgotten . So then In 2020 I now needed a multi tooth removal for my 22lb (a bigger)dog but was assigned to Dr Mastreano who then replaced my old Vet . At that time Due to Covid restrictions i could not even meet with the Vet face to face and dropped off my boy and picked him up and payed in the parking lot . Immediately afterwards at my Dads my dog showed signs that something went very wrong and from what I cloud tell A breathing pipe for what had to be a larger breed was used on him and damaged his trachea collapsing it severely. Also His ribs were bruised do to the poor placement of a GPS chip as well as him having bad rectal bleeding. After we arrived home It took a while to see that He could not bark like he used to and not at all for 6 months after the procedure. The worst part of it is since then he had always gasped and chocked constantly for air and when drinking and eating due too what I could tell to be trachea damage and kennel cough or a deep a lung infection. My dog was in excellent shape prior too this and It most definitely came from this procedure I’m sure because I had it ALL evaluated at two other places(SPECIALISTS) 3 years after because our home normal vet mis evaluated both his trachea and deep lung infection during the many times that he saw my dog and I am writing his poor review next because Despite me desperately trying to heal my poor dog and telling them clearly about both issues multiple times they would not properly address the issues. The Wallenpaupack clinic called us after we picked him up from the tooth removal and got him to my Dads house to ask how he was doing and ONLY THEN told us that they normally don’t work on smaller animals and couldn’t complete the job for fear of breaking his jaw and despite paying over $1800.00 we needed to take out the teeth he couldn’t elsewhere! So what happened?! Was it an infested used trachea pipe during shortages that was used on my boy as far as what his injuries had shown us ?! The ordeal ended up giving him high blood pressure and he has now passed due too all of this . We miss our boy ."
"Our hound dog got the tip of his ear tore off playing with his friends. Wallenpaupack Vet was great, they were able to get him in right away and they put him under and stitched up his ear. This place is the best!!"
"They've been amazing to work with! Staff is super nice! Love the receptionists! They don't do unnecessary test to get your money. I've brought many animals there, especially since I foster dogs. My only complaint is I wish they had a multi animal discount if you come in with more than one."
