"Upon arriving, we received a warm welcome from the friendly staff and the equally amiable turkey named James, who acted like our personal tour guide throughout our visit. The entire staff was accommodating and made sure our toddler had a fantastic time during the ride. Observing the animals was an absolute delight, and the whole experience provided us with a beautiful view and unforgettable memories."
"Great ride and wonderful experience. If you have an opportunity it's worth the time and we highly recommend it! We did the beginners trail ride for an hour with Jennifer. It was perfect!"
"Our outing to Queen Hive Farm was the absolute best part of my week in Chincoteague. If you love animals, especially horses, this is a must do! Jen, the owner, has horses, goats, Guinea hens, a sweet little dog, a beautiful rabbit, turkeys, and many other animals. We took a 45 minute trail ride through mostly forest and some meadow, and I had the great fortune to have her little dog, Marley, ride on the back of my horse. ADORABLE!!! Understand, we did a lot of fun things during the week, such as a 2-hour pony tour on a boat during which we saw dolphins, three bands of ponies, herons, egrets, and fish jumping; biking on electric bikes; shopping, great dining, etc. But the trail ride and hanging out in the stables with the horses and other animals was my favorite part of the trip. Jen is very nice and easy going, and so is Hannah, her stable hand. I could have hung out there all day if I hadn't had to go home! Many of Jen's horses are rescues, and she takes wonderful care of them as she does all of her animals. The farm is open year-round for trail riding. Don't think about it, just do it! You'll be glad you did."
"Great experience today at Queen Hive Farm for a trail ride. This was my family's first horseback riding experience ever. Our 9 year old was a but scared at first, so they got someone to walk beside him the first half of the ride, which I greatly appreciated. Our son also enjoyed seeing the other animals on the farm. Def wear long pants and don't forget the bug spray to the ankles!! That's the only spot we got bit up. Overall, great time! Very nice employees!"
