"Awful care, no respect to the vets, and less then homelike setting. Vets cannot ask for a second helping of food, the chow hall itself is just terrible and the lack of hours the gym is open is unacceptable as this is a way for patients to release stress. My fiancée has been there for 2 weeks and he is worse not better then he was prior. He’s feeling hopeless and no one there seems to care. I’m at my witts end as a family member. No one cares and that’s a crime in itself."

"I have been a patient in the VA Healthcare System since September 2022 once I was enrolled in the VA Healthcare. I come to Coatsville for my specialty appointments. I can say medical staff of varying levels are professional and caring. I understand folks don't have a great day everyday, but you can expect a very good experience at VA. I also receive my prescription medication from the pharmacy here. They send a refill reminder to me and mail my refills promptly. It's a great service."

"If I could give negative stars I would. How does the VA treat veterans that have sacrificed themselves for our safety, throw prescriptions at them and send them on their way. If this was a private hospital system it would be closed due to malpractice and neglect. No level of care, cancelled appointments, no follow ups, and no one there wants to be bothered doing their job. Poor excuse for medical treatment, I wouldn't even bring my hamster here."

"I had avoided going to VA because of the bad press but I’ve found Coatesville VA to be filled with find folks who seem to roll out the red carpet for veterans. I mean they call you to set up appointments and for follow ups. Try that at a non VA Dr’s office."
