Resort Nails

"I feel compelled to warn others about my experience with this business. Within two hours of my dip manicure, two of the dip nails completely fell off (emphasis TWO HOURS). I called right away to report the problem. I came in to have them fixed and within hours the nails that were fixed were covered in cracks and chipping. Over the course of the next two days, four more nails fell off completely and a large chunk fell off another nail. That’s 7/10 of my nails within three days of my service that were damage/fell off. I was told after the initial fix, if I continued to have problems, they would offer a refund. Well, I continued to have major problems with my nails but they reneged on that agreement. I had to call multiple times after they failed to follow up with me. Very unprofessional. Then they changed up their “policy” and I was told I would be required to come into the nail salon for a removal service in order to get my refund. I did not want this salon doing anything further to my nails. Additionally, this was not explained to me, so I went to my regular salon to have my manicure redone. Then to be told they need to remove the nails for me to get my refund? WHY? I just had them fixed. The only explanation is they changed up their so-called policy to avoid taking responsibility for a faulty manicure and issuing the refund I was reasonably requesting. This all could have been resolved quickly, amicably, and professionally if they had simply refunded me when the manicure they gave me lasted two hours. I was shocked that their response was not to apologize for the inconvenience and immediately offer a refund. I’ve wasted hours of my time making four visits to the salon within a week having my nails fixed because of the manicure they gave me. REQUIRING I remove the nails I just had fixed? A service I do NOT want? Make it make sense. This whole ordeal has been incredibly inconvenient and frustrating. I came in as a new customer hoping for a relaxing experience and some pretty nails. I got the exact opposite. I would caution anyone considering coming here that if receive an unsatisfactory service, management here will do their best not to issue you a refund. Or maybe you don’t want to support the kind of business that takes advantage of their customers given the opportunity. Update - they issued my refund. I had to go through hell to get it. It is fair to assume when a business starts dodging your calls and changing up their refund policies, they want you to give up and go away. I should not have had to jump through hoops to get the refund I was owed. I do not give them much credit here because they did their best to keep my refund. The runaround I went through was completely unacceptable. I’d like to emphasize my issue was NOT with the nail tech. She was lovely. Something went wrong with my manicure - it happens. The problem was with the way the management of the salon handled the situation."

"This was my first time getting acrylics and I LOVE them. Monet did my set and design and she absolutely killed it, making sure to check with me throughout the whole process to make sure I liked the shape, color, etc. Absolutely amazing"
