"Called per the recommendation of my pediatrician due to my toddler needing speech therapy. A lady returned my call the same day, which I appreciate, but tried to diagnose my son over the phone based on a conversation with me. Mind you both his pediatrician and myself agreed the toddler needs speech therapy. The lady tried to tell me my concerns were that of a normal developing 3 year old and to put him in daycare or school around other children. She did not even ask if he was already in daycare or school she just made the assumption. She did not offer an evaluation appointment for a licensed professional to interact and diagnose the child. Extremely rude and unprofessional. As a parent, this being my second child, it is very disturbing that people are dismissive when it comes to the concerns regarding children. I did not even press the issue of an appointment because of her dismissive attitude. She kept asking what was his diagnosis as if he had to be diagnosed with a “condition” in order to receive assistance. The program might be excellent but their admin staff or whoever returns calls make it impossible to determine."

"I recently took my 2 year old son for an evaluation, and they were extremely unprofessional and downright rude. The therapist, Jasmine, who worked with us kept having computer issues, my son got distracted a few times and walked off in the middle of the evaluation and shortly after she said, “we’re not going to be able to finish this.” I assumed it was because of the technical difficulties she was having and certainly not the normal behavior of my toddler son. At the end of the appt, she said “I don’t know if this will be beneficial due to his lack of cooperation.” I knew to get my son out of there immediately. I’m not sure how much cooperation they expect from a 2 year old, but if she isn’t equipped with the skills or lacks the experience to deal with young children, then she shouldn’t be working in pediatrics. I was extremely disappointed and called to speak to a supervisor only to have to deal with an even more ridiculous and rude woman named Temesha who answered the phone. I’m not sure where all these 5 star reviews came from, but they’re not accurate and I would sincerely suggest that you reconsider taking your child to this center. I certainly won’t be returning and I informed my current private speech therapist to no longer send referrals their way. No child or parent should have to deal with them."

"Our family has been clients at Impressions for about 9 months. We have had a great experience. All the staff are experienced, kind and considerate. Once we were on the schedule, it is a standing appointment, which is much better than some other local pediatric therapy centers. Very pleased with my childrens progress."

"I have been taking my daughter to physical therapy at this location for several months now. It is farther than I want to drive (1hr each way) but my daughter loves her therapist so much she doesn't want to change providers. The therapist is extremely knowledgeable and is working directly to overcome my daughter's limitations. She has made great progress and her confidence has increased tremendously. I am so happy with the results thus far and the relationship my daughter has with her therapist is well worth the drive. My daughter trusts her therapist and is willing to try new things to push herself to reach new goals. The entire staff is welcoming, positive, openingly expressive and easy to work with. Communication is great between the therapist and parents and the front desk staff is top notch. Definitely a one of a kind service!
