"Truly wonderful experience. Fabulous setting, friendly hosts, excellent food, lovely rooms. Our hosts provided lots of useful local information and happily accommodated dietary restrictions. We will recommend the Anchorage to friends, and we will surely go back!"
"First time B&B'ers who can't wait to come back! Perfect location -very close to many fun towns. Breakfast was incredibly delicious and the owners were beyond hospitable. Amenities are beautiful and relaxing. Can not get this enough stars and wish we could have stayed longer!"
"I hadn't stayed in a real bed and breakfast since I was a kid, and I had an idealized image in my mind of what it'd be like that I thought could not be lived up to. I am happy to say I was wrong! Woody and Michelle are wonderful hosts. The breakfast is fantastic, the property is beautiful, the house is cozy and comfortable, and the location is great-a short drive from the best parts of the peninsula. We left after a three night stay to other areas of the eastern shore and I can honestly say we missed The Anchorage immediately!"
"My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful, long weekend at this beautiful inn with amazing hosts who greet you before you're out of your vehicle. The property and views are very special and those breakfasts Woody...DELICIOUS! Thank you for your hospitality and we look forward to returning!"
"A wonderful, serene place tucked away along the eastern shore! The Anchorage is well appointed with beautiful upgrades to compliment the historic structure. Woody and Michelle are lovely hosts who make your stay enjoyable and relaxing, with plenty of recommendations on things to do in the area. It’s a close drive to places like St. Michael’s and Oxford, but you might prefer to stay on the grounds because of how nice they are!"
