"I always… ALWAYS feel like this office genuinely cares for my family, from the front office staff to the doctors, especially Dr. Skoda. She is amazing. The personal connection she offers makes her feel like she is family to the level I truly feel she cares. She is quite friendly, she tries to make my children comfortable, and she gives the knowledge and respect to the parents. We were referred to her by others in the class we were in for new parents, and we are thrilled we took the advice. She also is involved with Holy Cross where we had our children. When we need to make a visit, there is almost no waiting in the waiting room. There is a “sick” waiting room to separate those who are not sick. There are no toys so the children can play with and possibly spread infection. The Bowie location has a new look that is more modern and has a clean feeling. My children enjoy walking around the lake after an appointment, especially if they had to take a needle in the arm! We are “groupies” of Dr. Skoda, and during the pandemic, she was temporarily at the Silver Spring location where we followed her, and that office is very, very nice. As the pandemic goes, they are extremely careful with the laws, asking questions before the visit, maintaining proper distance in the office, while having proper PPV coverings. They do offer virtual visits, and this has been done even pre-Covid. Even over the camera, we get wonderful treatment and always have the option to make a physical visit if needed. When Dr. Skoda wasn’t available, I had a couple appointments with Dr. Brown, and he was quite caring as well. I highly recommend this practice and always refer others in the area to Dr. Skoda and the team at Primary Pediatrics."
