"I got a gel manicure for $40, which is already more expensive than other places I have gone. The tech rushed the hardening process probably each layer. When she first thought she was done it was still soft. After a second round it felt better. Less than three days after my manicure, the nail polish on every single nail has already peeled. This has never happened to me. Gel should last at least two weeks but I can usually stretch it to three with very little chipping. I will not be returning and really think I should receive a credit or something."

"10/9/23: Made the commute from west Chester for builder gel - came out beautiful! It did chip a bit after a week but I have super weak nails (hence the builder gel) so I don’t think that’s anyone’s fault but my own nails haha. Planning to get another set this week and so excited! ***UPDATE 10/10/23*** Was able to see Sam today to get a new set and as usual she went above & beyond. She even went as far as to explain why I may have the chipping issues with my nails, which I really appreciated as I’m a scientist myself so it’s always great to hear the why behind things and learn more about all of the processes us ladies go through for beauty! My nails have been through a LOT and are thinner so it’s been a real treat to find a salon that cares just as much as I do about my nails! Thank you American for setting a new standard in the industry. Always happy to support local businesses especially when they are this much of a gem. I already have received 2 compliments on my new nails and it’s only been a few hours since I left the salon! Hands down the best of the best and well worth the trip past other local salons closer to my home. THANK YOU!"

I asked for pearls on my nails, which is always a little bit of a risky move, but they made sure to add extra gel to them so that they would stay in place & 6 days later, they are still there. Highly recommend!"
