"First time here, will definitely be back! Wonderful, professional service and the nail artist was phenomenal! First time I've smiled leaving the nail salon ***Adding to my review of 2 months ago...initially loved this place, my first 2 visits were damn near perfect...after my first two visits, seems like they got comfortable in knowing that I was a loyal patron and started to be careless with me...had someone do my nails so terribly that I returned the very next day to show them how awful my nails looked and to their credit, they redid my nails absolutely free...I wish that was the only bad experience i had but it wasn't...every time I've gone there since, my nails break within 2 days, they are thick and lumpy and bumpy...idk how it went from being such a great job to awful...I spend 90-100 on every visit and the outcome isn't worth that money...I read reviews about people getting offered tea or coffee for free while I have never been offered so much as a cup of tap water...I truly think that they believe they got me hook line and sinker and therefore have to put no effort into me at all...I wont be going back ...it's a shame because I know they are capable of doing a wonderful job..."

"I’m usually not a big review type of person but Nailplay Studio deserves one! First, let’s start off with the decor. If you’re a social media baddie or just love places that give off a modern contemporary feel this place is for you, absolutely beautiful. Second, the lady at the front desk is busy as hell and still has time to be polite and helpful! Last but not least, my new pedicurist Tina! I showed Tina a picture of the style of pedicure I wanted and she executed it perfectly ! I can’t wait to see what designs we can do in the future! Definitely stop by and show Nailplay some love!"

"My Experience... BLACK & BROWN CUSTOMERS NOT TREATED EQUAL... NailPlay salon was one of few places that hired Latina nail techs so the diversity was a breath of fresh air despite the Asian owner making culturally insensitive comments towards his Black and Brown customers and Latina staff. All the nail techs I usually book with have either quit or been fired, I was assigned to a nail tech by the owner (5th appointment in a row). Skeptical, I allowed her to do a powder dip. The process she did for whatever reason was not drying correctly and the powder was breaking as she was drilling. She called the owner, Tuyuen- he was very dismissive. Though he offered a redo he expected I pay full price. I explained that my nails will be extra weak plus more time that full price is unreasonable to ask. He walked off and started speaking to his Caucasian customers. This is not the first time this treatment happened to customers of color. I addressed him again not appreciating being dismissed. He expected I should pay full price because of his staffing issues/ girls on commission/ time for second redo. There was no consideration for wasting of my time/ abuse on nails/ soaking in more chemicals. As the owner he should have absorbed some of the cost even if only $20 for the inconvenience and to keep a consistent customer. I come every 2.5 weeks and get mani/pedi. I tipped the nail tech for her time and effort. And I will never return. I will take my business where the owner appreciates loyal customers and respects my time. Often times black and brown dollars are not appreciated. I strongly advise BLACK AND BROWN CUSTOMERS TAKE YOUR BUSINESS WHERE THE OWNER WILL VALUE YOUR PRESENCE."

"Went today for the first time. I’ve been home less than 2 hours and my gel paint already chipped. The prices are more expensive than other local salons… I was hoping for better. Update: 3 days later, one nail snapped off and the entire gel part of another broke off…"
