Wilmer Eye Institute, Johns Hopkins Medicine Bethesda

"My mother was given a 2pm appointment today and was taken back to “wait” for the doctor at 2:45 and at 3:45 was still waiting to be seen. Mind you, this office closes at 4:30pm. She was asked to come in By 1:45 and to have a patient wait for hours to be seen when given an appointment is not right. This seems to be par for the course at this facility in Bethesda. I’m disappointed in the way my mother was made to wait for hours to be seen and I’m sure others have had the same experience. Something needs to change!!"

"Frustrating experience with the Wilmer Eye Institute in Bethesda. They called to reschedule appointment on November 14, and they said the earliest they could see us is sometime next year. This reschedule request was due to a conflict on their end, not ours. They also couldn't manage to get eyedrop prescription submitted properly after several appointments and phone calls back and forth. Eye issue has not been resolved. I wish we had gone somewhere else from the start."

"It was either replace my corneas or be fitted with the prosthetic Prose lens. I was very lucky what the doctor at the Institute changed my life around because getting the Prose lens was a game changer. That was 8 years ago."

"Hate front desk staff, always rude- there was one lady that I really liked, she's no longer here. Have yet to experience any miracle with my condition. Frederick office staff are also rude but they have a young physician who is really good. Too bad it's too far from my house."

"I see Dr. SIKTER I saw her first about nine years ago at a different location. She’s medical Director of Willmar. I saw her again for the third time since so many years. February 2023 about a procedure she’s the best doctor anybody could have I have my choice of anybody I choose. I am a very critical person. she is also at John Hopkins hospital she has so many credits towards her. I am putting her down for people to realize that I see they did not see her thank you."
