"First I want to start off saying I do like the practice as a whole. The office is clean has a lot of information. Dr. Ventura and Kristy Shellenberger are amazing!! They are always so welcoming and are quick but also make sure you have all your information. The reason for the 4 stars is because of Ann Summers CRNP. She is very knowledgeable but she comes off really rude. She rolls her eyes a lot and she just types most the time on the computer and if she does not like the answer to your response she sounds like she talks down like your irresponsible. She also does not introduce herself when she comes in the room. I been a Practice Manager for a Primary care for 10+ years and I normally do not run into rude providers but she needs to go back and do patient care 101."
"Imagine a pediatrician visit where both the nurse who roomed you and the NP (Ann Summers) who provided care for your child act as if they are employed at a DMV. Imagine the enthusiasm of the monster from Monsters Inc who reminds Mike Wazowski of his paperwork. The room had a 1:1 ratio of wall decor to active shooter protocol in a pediatricians office! I can’t forget, it was supplemented by a dwindling supply of pamphlets on HPV and Puberty that my baby child and I read while we waited for both the nurse and NP sitting in silence directly in front of us typing for 10 minutes each, though they broke the silence to complain about the state of the EMR and my child’s records. I bring in my 12 month old who hasn’t had a good night of sleep the last 2 nights with a nasty cough, is teething, and is entering his stranger-danger phase. They never introduced themselves and weren't wearing name badges, never asked for my name. The NP acted annoyed with both me and my child as soon as he began to melt down during examination, and made absolutely no effort to comfort the child. I am open to the expectation that it is the parent's responsibility to mediate any meltdown/tantrum etc, but from the beginning there was zero signs of basic sympathy for him. Quite the opposite, I felt like we were an inconvenience. You provide a service to babies! I would accept even fake sympathy for the 12 month old that you ultimately diagnosed with a double ear infection. I urge you, for your own happiness and for future families, stay home on days you feel like you cannot be decent to people. If this is regular behavior from you, change professions. I can only hope your actual diagnosis and treatment ends up being effective for my little one who transformed into laughter and joy before we even got to the car from leaving the dark cloud of sadness of which is your office. When my boy reaches the age where he can better communicate, one of the first things I will do is apologize for putting him through the experience we had at your office. I had the voice in my head telling me to just leave in the first five minutes with the nurse who was comparably indifferent, but told myself I was just acting hangry. I have had lunch now, I am still disappointed. I should add that both of the front desk staff were pleasant, thank you."
"The front desk and nurse was not welcoming at all. The lady at the front was terrible with welcoming us. When we arrived she was too focused on the issue with the computer not greeting us. We had to use the self check in computer because we was standing being completely ignored with our presence. If the self check in was a standard in that building, she should’ve let us know or there should be sign stating that. Checking out was also the same. We was standing there for about 5 mins, while she click away on the keyboard directly in front of us. A simple hold on, give me a moment would change the atmosphere on being ignored. The only positive thing that came with our first visit there, was the doctor other than that I would not recommend this place to no one."
"My daughter has been a patient of this practice since birth. She was seen by the pediatrician’s at the hospital and we fell in love with care she received!! Dr. Ventura, is always so willing to listen to everything I have to say in regards to my daughter’s health and care she receives. I couldn’t ask for a better pediatrician!!"
"I LOVE this office, the staff is amazing and always pleasant. Appointments always feel like we’re visiting family. No matter which Dr. We see my children and their needs are always met. My children have needed referrals and they’re on top of getting them sent out. If we need an emergency appointment they are quick on that too. I will never take my children any where else, and would recommend them over and over again."
