"We have just began ABA for my 2.5 year old ! He is non verbal and this has been his first time away from family! Our BCBA Ciara has been PHENOMENAL in pairing with him as well as communicating effectively to all family involved! All other therapist we have met this far have had warm & welcoming personalities to which our son has taken to! We feel comfortable and safe leaving our child here ! Being at the spot in such a short period of time you truly see that they all want the absolute best for the little ones! I can’t wait to see all the milestones my son reaches !! "My son began working with The Children's Spot in June, and we began seeing results soon thereafter. The therapists dove right in and engaged him with creative approaches that demonstrated that not only did they listen to his parents, but more importantly to my son. The beautiful bonus to this is that SPOT is partnered with my son's school. The therapists can be with him in the classroom (currently at our house and over video during Covid), and are able to directly evaluate, plan and execute new therapeutic regimens for him and share with his teachers. This approach is more effective, because the therapists are not relying on second-hand information from school to base their work."

"We are intensive users of speech services for our son who is autistic and has severe speech apraxia. He has worked with a speech language pathologist at the SPOT for many years and she has worked miracles. Our therapist is so passionate about her work, so caring, and so talented and proficient. In addition to the work through multi-modal communication (articulation, AAC, sign language), she has initiated co-treatment with a SPOT occupational therapist and a SPOT life skills summer program targeting prevocational skills, social skills, and regulation through movement. It’s a great benefit to have the talents of a multi-disciplinary team with a collaborative approach at one place. They have a great gym and an awesome sensory room. I highly recommend services at the SPOT."
