Dashing Queen

"I’ve been going to Dashing Queen for years, I love Amy she’s great, a few others as well. So on my birthday I went in and had a manicure and pedicure, got the “new gel”. A new girl did it, which it is what it is, and I was told it should last for a month!!!!!! It looked great for about a week….. I live 40 minutes away from the salon and can’t just go in at anytime. I came into town today to see if I can just get my nails fixed and have clear polish on it. Well my long nails are now shaved off and not the shape I came in with. They looked worse than before I went in. They are rough and bumpy as well, because the “new gel” was ground off in a hurry. Ying was rude and wouldn’t listen to what I had to say. I even asked to use the nail file to try and reshape my nails, but it didn’t work… So, now off to spend money to get my nails to look halfway decent for thanksgiving… I also asked for Amy’s phone number so I can talk to her. But, wasn’t given it. Very disappointed, I’ve never been treated like this nor had such bad nail service."

"I've been here a bunch of times and had wonderful service! Today, I had to wait an hour and half on a Thursday. That's my fault, I didn't make an appt. I had Peter and I felt like I was being pushed around, no communication at all..he was very forceful with me instead of asking and treating me like a person..not great..as soon as he was done, he ran to register and didn't even try to usher me to the exit. I usually have a great tip, not today. I'll make sure to make an appt going forward (not with Peter) or I'll go elsewhere that values me."

"I am new to the area and was greeted professionally when I walked in. The treatment and attention given by the employees was superb. Amy was very kind and did a great job on my nails. Will be a regular there with Amy pampering me at each visit. Thank you Dashing Queen."

"I initially liked this place. My first appointment was with the owner. She did a beautiful job. The last 2 have been awful. The tech struggles and its hard communicate. With in days they are lifting and look murky and dirty. The facility is very nice. Above standards and well priced"

"My daughter went to Dashing Queen in Vestal to get a full set of Gel nails a few days ago. The next day 4 nails popped off. She went back and they replaced them and the next day 3 more fell off! I called there to tell them she just wants them off and her money returned but the very rude lady that did her nails said they don't return money and they will just fix them. I said she can't waste anymore time coming there and she said well I don't get my time returned either! Are you kidding me? I at that time asked for the owner and she said she was in NY I asked if she could leave a message to have her call me and she said no and hung up on me. I called back and said do you think that's right to hang up on a customer? Do you think that is good customer service? She hung up on me 2 more times. I then went to post the story on their Facebook page but they disabled reviews because as I was looking the reviews were all negative! Surprise Surprise right? She paid $65 for these nails and just wanted her money back. I have been there a few times and this same girl has been extremely rude each time. (Short hair with tattoos all over her) She should not be working in customer service! Needless to say I will never give them my business again and word of mouth goes a long way!"
