"This was actually my first time at any LA Nails salon! I requested Candy after seeing all of the amazing reviews for her on Google. I love how cute my nails turned out to be! :) I'm so so sorry again for not being more prepared with reference photos for the smiley faces, Candy. :( I could see that you were visibly annoyed by that and you sounded annoyed, too, so I super appreciate your patience with me regardless of that! It's been a while since I've had acrylics let alone gone to a nail salon (I used to go all the time several years back) so I'm very rusty lol. Candy was sweet to me besides that and made sure to ask for my opinions along the way. When it came time to dry/set the acrylic and gel polish under the UV lights, she pointed to the sides (left/right) instead of either pointing at the actual UV machines or verbalizing what I needed to do, so I was very confused and felt like I was a burden for not understanding her nonverbal pointing right away. The reasons I did not give a full five star review are: 1) the table wasn't brushed off from the previous client so my hands and nails were resting in their nail/acrylic shavings for a bit which was very unsanitary, and 2) Candy's palpable aggravation with me not having references. But besides that, I had an okay experience getting my nails done here while watching Frozen and giggling with Candy about the goofy scenes. :) I would like to come back since it's close to home, but I don't want to feel like a burden again for wanting to get my nails done, so I thank you for taking me as a new client and I truly wish you all the best there at LA Nails!!!"
