"The last time I went here 2 years ago I got a full set of gel acrylics. I did come in last minute but it wasn’t enough time to ruin their closing duties and everything. I saw their tools were already white(they been used) but I didn’t wanna question it because they’re the professionals and I’m not. Everything was fine, got nicked like twice but I didn’t think anything of it. 4 hours after I got them done my finger started to swell, bubble and turn red. I’ve gotten sets before and this never has happened so I was like oh it’ll go away. It never did, I still can’t wear acrylics after this appointment 2 years ago and I can’t get over it still. If you still plan to visit this salon just be aware of what the tools look like before they use them, they can transfer fungus and bacteria to you and can cause problems like mine."
"First and last time. I was the only one in the place. I asked for a pedicure first and was told no gel first. Because it’s the middle of winter. Manicure was fine but made me bleed. Got my pedicure and she used a cheese grater. Which is illegal because it cannot be fully sanitized. My gel also chipped within 3 days"
"The first time I went, the owner did my nails and made me bleed twice. I tried to be understanding, but was annoyed that it was from slamming the tool into my cuticles. My manicure wasn't great and had a lot of bubbles. I figured I'd give her another chance because my family still went there, and had taken me this time around. I had her do an eyebrow waxing and manicure because I was getting ready for a trip. During my manicure she once again made my cuticles bleed and giggled about it instead of just apologizing. My nails came out okay, but the ones that were bleeding peeled within a few days (gel polish). For my mom's nails she did a beautiful job and used a sterile pack of tools, for mine I realized she just used the same tools from my mother on my hands. I don't know why I then let her do my eyebrows. I didn't want to cause an issue with family there and needed them before my trip. My mom had a reaction to whatever she put on after the wax, but when asked the owner said it was jusy vaseline. I have been getting my eyebrows waxed for well over a decade so I assumed that it was just her having a weird reaction. The owner did my eyebrows, which were noticeably 2 different shapes and put something that was definitely not Vaseline on my face . It was oily and smelled like essential oils. My mother's reaction was so bad she later needed medication and I was left scrubbing it off in a Denny's bathroom because my skin was on fire."
"Went to get my nails done for a wedding and asked for a full set. Was told 45 dollars and the appointment proceeded, it started off fine and I was happy with what I was getting until more people started to come in and the woman doing my nails started rushing and I was left with lumpy nails, a messy polish job and the polish was gel so I couldn’t remove the polish with out filing all the polish off. Very disappointed and would not recommend you go here."
"I went in for a regular pedicure shocked when I was charged 30 for something where they do not cut cuticles strub your feet or most importantly paint your nails right. I as the customer was explaining to the boss herself that the nail polish was clumped up and bubbling she refused to fix it therefore I did not bother to get my gel manicure she also didn't top coat the nails. By the time I got home the bubbling caused the nail polish to come right off not even an hour after. I had to basically clean off my toes and do my own pedicure waste of money. This place was terrible. Never again."
