It is a wonderful karate studio with amazing instructors who not only focus on karate technique but also motor skills, good behavior, respect, self-discipline and self-esteem. Instructors are highly qualified and very supportive. Every student is on their own journey and instructors work with them where they are while challenging them to advance in their training and earn each belt rank. Students support each other and build the karate family. Twice yearly intramural tournaments with the Bowie Klotz studio and overnight summer camp are amazing! Summer day camp also available and fun for kids."

"Klotz Karate is great. Our kids (10 & 14) have been going there for about a year now and it has been a wonderful experience for them. The owner Ken and all of the instructors are high quality - friendly, knowledgeable, encouraging, and inspire the kids to work hard. Both of our kids were willing to try karate but were unsure whether they would commit long term - after a few months they both really enjoyed the friendly and challenging environment and are now green belts and continuing to progress their skills. We also really liked the summer overnight camp that Klotz Karate offers, it was a great experience for the kids. The price is very reasonable, and we find the flexible schedule very helpful since my husband and I both work full time. Highly recommend this place."

"Our daughter joined Klotz Karate six years ago with having no knowledge of martial arts at all. At the time, we wanted to help her with her self confidence, focus and concentration. Her seventh anniversary is coming up since she joined Klotz Karate and boy has it ever helped!
