"Attended here in 2021, and the entire experience was a waste of time and money. They really allow anyone to attend the classes, they had one student who jumped over the tables trying to fight another student over them having different opinions. The teachers are unorganized and lack any form of collaboration. You’re treated like you’re part of the high school rather than an adult, I actually think I had more respect and freewill during my high school years compared to their adult programs. They treat students that have trouble with certain sections like they’re liars and will tell you to your face, “They can’t take your word for it.” And will send you off to fail some more. Their rules are bogus when it comes to clinical, I worked at a hospital after withdrawing and they cackled at the things that all the students were told were nonnegotiable for the workforce. I sadly experienced a miscarriage during my time there, and was bleeding fairly heavily from it. I went to talk to the woman that is the head of the program, where she told me that I wouldn’t know if it was a miscarriage, it’s probably a heavy period. Here’s some pads, go back to class. Same woman who was gossiping about my withdrawal with the administration lady after I sent them an email and didn’t expect me to walk by to clean out my locker. They also told a friend whose brother was in the hospital in a coma from a car accident and had the possibility of never walking again that it wasn’t worth her missing school to visit him because, “It’s going to end one of two ways, and neither is good or worth it.” I could go on and on, but it really isn’t anyone who wants to get what they pay for, or at the very least have some knowledge to take from it."
"administration is horrible, no communication & they just don’t care about anyone else’s time. they will string you along for months & change things with no notice. they changed our graduation date two times not caring that people have family out of state visiting. administration constantly lies, they have no idea what they are doing. they claim they send out paperwork when they never do, or lose paperwork & claim they never got it. it has been a nightmare dealing with the two women in administration since day one. administration will not allow adult ed teachers to fail anyone no matter how bad their grades are or how much time they miss because they are more concerned with the school’s reputation over quality education. also not to mention the good reviews here are only because teachers gave good grades/extra credit in turn for good reviews."
"Mr. Alvarez is a great phlebotomy teacher, always ready to help and teach us tricks for real life situations. He makes classes both educational and fun, even through more boring things like bookwork. I’ve really enjoyed my time here and I’m so glad I made the decision to go back to school."
"Do not trust anyone who goes here. they will throw you under the bus. i was a junior at tech up until 10/24/19. three days before that a threat was released. the next day i was pulled into a conversation by three of my peers about the situation the day before. well they went to the admin saying things that were untrue and i ended up getting suspended which turned into expulsion; I was in the special ed classes there and they do not have enough support there for people with anxiety and depression. the students are very rude. the admin are terrible, but other staff are amazing. I was very excited since it is my junior year and i was in early childhood, i was getting all the needed hours for my CDA certs and i was soooo close and now i lost all of that due to the students that threw me under the bus. IF YOUR CHILD HAS A 504 OR IEP DONT SEND THEM"
"School environment was pretty awful and divided. The education is actually very good for those looking to really get a head start in their careers. There is a decent support system built in the school as well. Definitely some questionable things happened in my time there but those involved, teachers & students have left so the environment could be completely different. I will say I do miss some of my teachers though because they are amazing at what they do and know how to keep it fun and lighthearted!"
