"I went in last week to order a chainsaw handle plug. I pointed to the plug on a similar saw, the employee ordered the part and when I went to pick it up I learned that he ordered the wrong one. He had already run my card and said “no refunds, no exceptions”. I now I have the wrong part for my saw. Not helpful. Please do not visit this shop. They are rude and incompetent. Update: Manager called and resolved the issue with a refund. Rating updated."

"I can't say enough bad about Virginia Outdoor Power Equipment. I have purchased thousands of dollars of equipment and service over a few years, but I have finally had it. Long service delays (sometimes 6 weeks), poor quality repairs (maintenance not completed as agreed), and unwillingness to even me parts numbers to name a few. Then on a $25 part purchase (which they didn't deliver for about 3 weeks), they won't swap the part (it was the wrong part) because it is outside 30 days of purchase. If they are such a big Stihl dealer seems like it would be easy to swap a part? Instead, I am shopping for a dealership that treats customers with respect and fairness, and one that does basic work correctly. That sure isn't Virginia Outdoor Power."
