WVU Heart & Vascular Institute – Martinsburg

"Was discharged from ER after chest pains in Jefferson County. Given a follow up for this joke of a place. They told me next appointment was in Feb of 2024. This was September of 2023. I made a call to INOVA same day for the Ashburn office. They saw me next day, scheduled me for 3 tests, showed a serious plaque buildup in my cardiac arteries and had me in operating room in less than a week. If it had gone on waiting for these worthless, heartless people, I would be dead. Go elsewhere, this place is like the VA, deny, deny, deny and hope you die, then sue your estate for “services rendered”. I hope they close this place up before they get others hopes up in the guise of helping the community."

"This is the worst cardiac care I've ever received. Dr's are uninformed concerning electrical ion heart issues ( Long QT Syndromes). Dr refused to refer me to an EP. No one answers Mychart. I had extensive testing done in Aug and have had my follow up appointments rescheduled by their office THREE times. Currently I'm forced to drive from Harpers Ferry to Winchester just to discuss results that I can already read on Mychart but office refused a telehealth appointment. As soon as my Dec 22 appointment is finished I will be seeking a new Cardiology practice. Absolutely terrible cardiac care."

"I go in the dictors and get this Karen as a nurse. I had a dry throat and I'm a smoker. So I ended up coughing a little better. This nurse " Karen" thur a fit over me coughing. So bad I got up just walked out. Don't they understand we pay there salary. No patiences no job. I'm going g to the doctors to be treated like a 2 years old. I will go we're they care about there patience."

"They never respond to your mychart messages. The dr was supposed to review my images to make sure everything was okay it’s been almost 2 months and still no word from the dr nor the nurse. I’d stay clear from this “specialist”"
