"The service was good. The meat and the corn tortillas were super greasy and too salty. The food made my stomach sick all evening till the next day. I only ate 1/3 of the meal. I bought the beef quesabirria the flavor was there and it is over priced for the size. Over priced tacos 4.5 each, the size was as small as an apple, not impressed. I was picking up dinner. Not impressed this time around as this was my second time after a year and a half trying it before. I give it thumbs down. It’s not worth it. I would give this place 1/2 star for the price and for the portion they charge for. I like to take pictures I missed this one for the records."
"Delicious tacos and margaritas! Highly recommend for a casual spot. The drinks took a little long to come out, and the service generally was not the best, but the food and drinks were delicious."
"I tried the Paloma with tres agaves tequila, I highly recommend if you like Palomas. The Al pastor tacos and aguachile were delicious. I can’t forget about the homemade guac!!!"
"We had a great time at Taqueria Al Lado! We visited with our pet dog. It’s not obvious from the pictures but the area with the brick is actually a patio in the back, and it’s very dog friendly. The tacos were great - the fish taco in particular. The SSS Margarita (chile, tamarind) with mezcal was great too, we ended up sticking around for an extra drink. Eat here if you have a dog - or even if you don’t!"
"Pretty simple menu, but it's really good. We had the Hurache, tacos, and the shrimp ceviche and a side of rice and beans. The inside has maybe a little more than a handful of tables, but as you walk to the back, what looks to be an outdoor area. They have converted it with awnings and heaters, so it feels like you are indoors. The freshly made tortilla chips and the two different types of salsa are really good. Be careful. The red salsa can be a little hot for some, but if you like heat like me, you keep going back to it. The menu is jot extensive like some other Mexican places, so no burritos or tamales, but what they do offer should be filling enough for you. We came on a Friday night, and it was pretty busy, but there luckily was no wait."
