Reviews of Schola
"Amazing place to learn how to make different types of pasta. Andy, the owner was patient and very informative. Definitely a go to place for anyone in the Baltimore area."
"This was my third visit to Schola and enjoyed it so much! This time I brought my daughter and we did a brunch class together. We were able to participate in all of the meal components, as it was a small group and we were all-hands on every dish. All of the dishes were very fresh and delicious and included a good mixture of savory, seafood and salad. My daughter said it was the highlight of her weekend!!!"
"Had a BLAST! The Schola team has always done a great job but this was my first time in the new space and it’s perfect! Roomy but everyone’s connected - so wonderful! Plus parking! Yay!"
"SO MUCH FUN!!! We were in town for a few nights and I found Schola looking for local cooking classes. This class hit all the marks as we did Oysterfeast and my husband is really into then these days. Chef Amy was the best from our pre-class emails (she got cupcakes for his birthday for me) to our initial greeting to the class vibe and very tasty good...the best!! Book a class ASAP...you wont be sorry!!!"
"Excellent evening. We shared the experience with 16 others cuisine adventurers. 10 dishes from around the Mediterranean were on the menu and folks pitched in to bring the feast together. We cooked most of two hours before sitting down to enjoy food and conversation. Amy and Andy prepared some components in advance but everything we ate came together with our collective efforts. If you are looking for a 12 step recipe you might be disappointed. But if you can measure ingredients and follow quick spoken directions you’ll do fine. Of the 10 items, I had my hands on at least 5.. Other folks worked similarly. At each station there were new folks to meet and talk with. If you can talk with a stranger and follow some cooking basics, I trust you’ll enjoy your outing. I did."
