"Do NOT let the new “Dr. A” treat your loved one if they have a psychological disorder. The original Dr. A we chose really cared about my 19 yr old daughters well being, taking at least 1-3 minutes a month to speak to me about my daughters treatment, progress, etc. Understanding that though she’s an adult, her disorder can affect her decisions, and thought process. The new “Dr. A” that was assigned to my daughter in what seemed like a covert fashion does not seem to care at all. This new “ Dr. A” (conveniently same nick name) let my skitzophrenic bipolar daughter totally detox off anti psychotics at her request without reaching out to make sure she would be cared for, and safe during such a dangerous transition. Original Dr A. (or any previous doctors) would have reached out to make SURE she was properly cared for. My daughter went from doing well, having a job to a total catatonic state resulting in ambulance taking her to ER and hospitalized in a matter of weeks. I tried to reach Dr. A after getting home per hospital’s instructions, and was told my daughter was emailed instructions, and warnings of the dangers, and further more the doctor would not have time to talk to me until almost 2 weeks later at her scheduled appointment. my daughter who still can’t speak, still not fully aware of reality, missed her video call. Now they finally reach out to ME (not my daughter) to tell me we owe 75$ for missing the video call. She has 0 meds now and the only way this new “Dr. A” will give her medicine is if we pay the 75 $ out of pocket. I have not been able to speak to the actual doctor throughout this entire process. There’s much more to this story unfortunately it would take pages to write everything. I know my daughter is a legal adult but she’s not in the right mind to make these decisions or take the responsibilities following up. ANY of her previous doctors have realized this and would have taken 2-3 minutes on the phone to make SURE she would be taken care of during this, and she’s had some bad doctors. Needless to say i’ll be finding my daughter a doctor that actually cares about her safety elsewhere today. If you take a loved one here to be treated by “Dr A” make sure your not looking at reviews written about the ORIGINAL Dr A! The latest “Dr A” DOES NOT COMPARE !! too bad I can’t give 0 stars"
