"Holy Moly! I pray that this place continues to produce/sell oysters as long as I live and able to enjoy their products. I drove 3.5 hrs roundtrip to buy a bushel of unshucked and 1 quart of shucked oyster and was not disappointed. Their hushpuppies mix was so light and easy to make. The best hushpuppies ever. The wild oysters were fat and juicy. Best oysters in this area! It's a hike but the reward is worth it. No restaurants can match the quality of their oysters."

"Nice little hidden spot with excellent fresh and huge oysters. We bought 100 to take home. Shucked and then grilled them over hot coals with a little bit of butter mixed with lemon and cilantro. Loved eating them more. Eating them raw (my preferred way) was good too but like most farm raised oysters they were a bit bland when compared to other northern east coast oysters. We will definitely be back in October when they have wild caught available."

"Purchased a bushel of steamed crabs today and they were without a doubt the best crabs I have had in years. I was born and raised in Broomes Island and my family were water folks that crabbed for a living. I have heard that you could taste the difference in river crabs vs bay crabs. I always laughed. But today I am a true believer that river crabs are the BEST. Jill and her crew are awesome. Highly recommend and will be a return customer going forward."

They have oyster farms here and I hear from my husband that the oysters are amazing! We will continue buying from Jill for years to come. People, please keep in mind that they have no control over how the crabs are running and all of the other things, weather, etc. that play into availability of crabs. Keep in mind that these are people you are talking to and keep your negativity to a minimum, they deserve much better."
