I tried a lot of vets who ultimately didn’t listen to this dog mom and Pleasant Valley can’t be compared to the others. Don’t pinch pennies when it comes to your pet’s health. You’ll wind up spending more in the long run just like we did."

"Our family’s new puppy, Ajax, has been having trouble eating and getting sick. After a particularly bad morning, i called Pleasant Valley desperate to get him in and get answers to what was happening and if he was okay. Our regular vet wasn’t able to get him in for 1.5 weeks, and he needed immediate attention. Although we aren’t clients of theirs, they booked us immediately and we came in a few hours later. The staff treated him with so much love and kindness and genuinely showed great care and concern for him. They wasted no time in getting a care plan set up for him. I was very worried about the cost of the visit, and it was almost 1/2 of what i pay at my regular vet. (Almost 400$) Our fur babies will be coming to Pleasant Valley from now on! "We have gone to Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic for decades, starting when Dr. Carmichael Sr was our vet. We've never been disappointed with the care from the staff and doctors. Dr. Mike has seen us through a series of 4 dogs with cancer and has been consistently caring and compassionate - especially when it was time to make that incredibly difficult decision. We appreciate how thorough the vets are, especially Dr. Mike. We also appreciate the vets' ability to connect with our dogs, getting down on the floor with them and recognizing their very different personalities and figuring out how to best interact with them. Great practice!"

"This is my mom's vet and they are not a pleasant group of employees. Appointment is at 1230 and when we checked in, no greeting or smile. It is now 1240 and we are still waiting to get her dog's shot. No acknowledgement. Thank goodness this isn't my veterinarian. Definitely not returning here."
