"Graduate Class 1987-1988 my first 6 months Brick Masonry was my first trade Mr. Curtis, was my trade instructor. I had death in my family so I had went back home for 3 months but when I returned back to PJCC I didn’t play any games. I took up a different trade, and that was landscaping. I receive my HBI Diploma In Landscaping. The owner of Radio One Mrs. Cathy Hughes spoke at Class of 87-88 graduation. I am so thankful for PJCC. Today I still have the same 5 friends that I met at Potomac Job Corps Center. I give Potomac Job Corps Center 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Best RA was Mr. Curtis and Mr. Roger dormitory 21 and 20 was the best."
"I was in Potomac Job corps in 1979 I had a great experience I wouldn't change it for the world l met life long friend's I think about my experience with a smile all the time I was taking up book keeping"
"I went to Potomac June 2022 and I would say it was one of the best/worst decision I’ve ever made. I meet some of the most amazing people there, security trade was the best for me I had an amazing instructor he helped me from the time I entered his class up until my graduation. It takes a lot of mental strength not to throw a brick at someone but if you keep your head on a swivel then you’ll be fine."

"The center director Carl Hilliard is a terrible person told me that my partners didn’t raise me right and that I’ll be a quitter for life just because I wanted her I resign from the program because it wasn’t for me. There are so many problems in the center that he doesn’t care to fix. All he cares about it making his money he doesn’t care about the students. He is so unprofessional and he should be fired! Even most of the staff doesn’t like him and what does that say about him as a person? The dorms were generally pretty good. But the social development director had an outrageous rule that if she found a piece of trash on the floor she would deduct 1 hour away from curfew like one time our curfew was at 5pm im not 5 mam sorry that you had to pick up trash but it’s not your job and it’s not my job either that’s what the janitorial staff is for. The advanced training coordinator is childish told me that I need to be truthful when she was the one lying. The rec staff was pretty cool. The cafeteria food wasn’t the best. The students were pretty chill. Over all not great as long as Carl Hilliard is there nothing will really be fixed. And department of labor please address this man he needs to focus on the students not this money!"
