"The back of the chairs in the waiting room were dusty. Dirty carpet and large stains. Crusty slimy soap dripping from the dispenser in the exam room. Water and mold stains on the wall in exam room. Update: the link in your response does not work The lady at the front desk in the lab is very rude to people coming in and especially to her coworkers."

"This is pretty common with all Medstar appointments. Front desk staff and nurses are grumpy and rude. The impression is that I'm inconviencing them. The procedure felt like I was on a conveyor belt at a factory. I was a thing and not a person. The consultation prior to the procedure was a waste of time, was it just to bill the insurance a second time? Also why do doctors treat you like you are an idiot. There is nothing personal or caring about any care. The call the next day was just to get a check in the box. They literally asked are you okay? Yes. Thank you good bye."

"Well it was quite a day there first with radiology then blood work where they where quite busy but they worked as a team. Then to Karen McCleaf's office which they had a cancelation so I was able to get in early. Karen is always so helpful & makes the visit easier. She is very professional & caring. Than goodness for her & her team."

"It’s been over a month and I have been absolutely miserable and have asked for certain tests and they have pawned all my problems off on other physicians who also refuse to help. I have not had a decent night’s sleep in months. I have asked for simple blood tests to rule out hormone issues and they refuse. I can barely even work. I have not made any progress or received any relief, but you can guarantee I’m receiving the bills. I have never been so miserable in my life and I blame every bit of it on MedStar’s incompetence. The staff is super rude both in person as well as on the phone. And heaven forbid you leave them a message because they will never follow up. I’ve had to show up in person multiple times to try to get things moving just to be gruffly brushed aside. Avoid at all costs!"

"The wait time wasn’t long for my appointment and the Doctor was very thorough and concerned about my issue. I was squeezed in for an Endoscopy the next day. The Surgery Department of the practice is also excellent! All of the medical professionals are very caring and helpful with explaining the procedure. I highly recommend Shah Medical Group."
