"My first few appointments with Dr. Chohan were fine and pretty straightforward. Yesterday was a different story. I was having an issue and he did fit me in which I was thankful. However, during my appointment I felt that he was abrupt and snarky with me from the start. I told him where I was having pain and discomfort and he didn’t even bother with doing a physical exam on me to evaluate the area I was referring to. He just said I needed to try another medication. He didn’t explain any of the side effects to look out for on this medication. I began to cry out of frustration because he wasn’t listening to me. I told him that he was gaslighting me, which is not something I have ever said to a medical professional before. After I said that to him he appeared shocked in my opinion. He then offered to do an ultrasound which wasn’t offered to me before my comment. Later when I asked him a medical question related to why I was there, he said that he didn’t know the answer. He didn’t offer to try to find out the answer either or recommend any other doctor that might know the answer. I felt as if he did not care at all about me and that he was rushing me out the door. At the end of the appointment, as I was leaving, Dr. Chohan said to me that he didn’t need to fit me in today and that he hopes I’m grateful. Another gaslighting moment. Grateful for what? Should I be grateful for his unprofessional attitude or his unwillingness to give me a proper exam? Maybe I should have been grateful that he was unable to answer my question. Here is some unsolicited advice-Don’t bother fitting people in if you don’t want to actually construct a proper appointment with them. Nevertheless, the ladies in the office were very nice and helpful."
"Dr. Chohan is great, explains everything in detail, patient, nice and cares about his patients. The nurses and support staff have been great. No complaints at all from me. Keep up the excellent healthcare."
"My initial appointment with the Dr was fine. However, my second appointment he was VERY rude, abrupt, condescending. Every medical question I asked him regarding if should do X or if I should do Y. He said he didn't know, its up to me, no medical guidance at all. He was also VERY angry (hostile attitude) that I didn't take the meds that he suggested which at my previous appointment he said that I should only take if I think I needed it. By far, the worst doctor I ever been to."
