"Back in the 1990's, Mike Parker taught me and certified me in the later trip to Cayman Islands. I live in Washington, DC and the school is conveniently located in the DMV. As a solo traveler, I had ample opportunity to experience the prats and pitfalls we were taught to avoid, or if unable, how to act accordingly. But, I was also able to dive with confidence and enjoy this exhilarating sport. After a refresher course, I feel ready to get back into the waters, and learned new PADI rules in my return to Cayman. While I had achieved Advanced Certification in 1996, there have been many changes and my natural curiosity wanted to know what was being currently taught. Mike and Olga outfitted me with a complete set of gear from the SPE shop, allowing me to chose from a very extensive collection of diving equipment and accessories. After COVID, I prefer to rely on the integrity of my own equipment and SPE offers free adjustments going forward. Mike Parker is the best divemaster instructor and Olga could not have been more helpful in adjusting my gear, teaching me the various new upgrades, and repacked my equipment. They spent over 3 hours with me the evening I purchased my gear! I decided on Mares gear as I want to know where my equipment is made, and Mares is reliable and time tested. Olga packed all my manuals in a easy to file pouch and showed me a really cool fact. All their labels contain decals so you can apply them wherever you like. Yes, I am a 65 yr old nerd and my filing cabinets are adorned with decals and refrigerator magnets. I opted for a large, Mares travel bag, with wheels. It can hold all your gear and more while traveling. The huge travel bag then collapses, folds into a compact, flat piece the size of a laptop. Mike and Olga, I appreciate and thank you for all you do."

"I first was certified back in 2002 when I was 14 years old along with my older sister and her husband. My father was certified a year prior and went on several trips with Mike. My fiancé always wanted to try diving so I did not hesitate to see Mike 20 years later to get her certified. Mike is one of the nicest individuals you will meet, and has been doing this for nearly 50 years. He provides a thorough classroom instruction when most people hand you the book, give you the exams and finish the pool work. Mike really wants you to know the material. He also arranges monthly trips to Grand Cayman to complete your dives for the certification. Everything is taken care of, you just book your flight. He arranges for rooms at the Sunshine Suites owned by the Westin, which you have access to right across the street on the beach. It is affordable with the benefit of the Westin's facilities. Would go on several more trips to Cayman through Mike, 10/10!"

"Highly recommend SPE Dive School. Mike and Olga are really great people who eat, sleep, and breathe scuba diving. Their passion is evident and they do a great job at getting new divers excited about the sport and also helping apprehensive divers get past their fears and have fun. They are very fair with their prices and they care deeply about their customers. My fiancee and I also went on the December 2022 trip to Grand Cayman with the SPE Dive School and it was an incredible time! Mike and Olga had everything planned out so nicely that all we had to do was just show up and have fun! The hotel rate was great as well and we had an amazing time. "I've always wanted to become a certified diver and very grateful to have found Mike Parker and SPE Dive School. My wife and I took classes with them back in 2018 to get our Open Water certs and just returned from a Grand Cayman trip last month with them to do our Advanced certs. Mike is the best in the business, hands down. He is very knowledgeable and takes great care of his students. And not to mention a living legend in Grand Cayman.
