"I’ve been coming here for years! I use to see Dr. Alewode, such a wonderful doctor unfortunately I don’t see him anymore but Ashley Siemonh, is just as good as him! I feel like I’m in good hands with her. The only thing that I don’t like is not being able to get through anytime to schedule an appointment or admin team not returning calls."

"They never pick up the phone , and when you leave a voicemail, you never even get a call back. This is frustrating. I even requested an appointment through the portal, still no answers. "I found this place after having to switch from another office last year. At first, my experience was good. Currently, i can’t get anyone to answer the phone after never been called about lab results and medicine that was sent for me without explanation. I don’t feel that my health is being taken care of here. One person called to say they will leave a note for the dr about my concerns and still no phone calls back. Extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. UPDATE: I received a phone call from a very nice representative who answered all of my questions and helped to re-schedule my next appointment"

"I really enjoyed the care I received from Dr. Rodney , who now is no longer at the practice. My most recent visit was very rushed, yet all over the place . The office do not answer their scheduling line. You must leave a voicemail that says you will be contacted back in 24 hours to make an appointment. After my appointment I experienced some severe symptoms, and attempted to call the office to make an appointment or to at least speak with someone, but no answer. I left a very detailed message on Monday morning expressing the urgency, and I did not receive a call back until close to end of business on Wednesday. How can a patient feel secure to receive decent care along their health journeys if the office won't make themselves available to simply answer the phone. Based on other reviews this seems very common and negligent that the office do not answer their phone. As if it's there practice to allow the phone to go to voicemail. Even when you're in office waiting to be called, it's completely silent. There are no phones ringing. Please do better and encourage MedStar staff to be on the front line with answering phone calls for their patients as that is the first/initial point of contact. I have also sent my concern directly through MedStar feedback."
