Reviews of Beltway Driving Academy
"Great driving school. Staff was professional and accommodating. The evening class times were great for working professionals, and I felt that the instructor did an excellent job of presenting the course material in a way that was accessible for both the teenagers and adults in the class. I was not treated like a kid in high school, which I greatly appreciated, and would recommend Beltway Driving Academy for anyone interested in learning the rules of the road."
"Overall my experience with Beltway Driving Academy has been GREAT. I made up a drivers education class with Mrs. Kassandra for one day. I was impressed at how well she was able maintain focus in the class but added humor to keep the class engaged. Shes awesome!! Finished my last driving time with Caleb and he was great!! He provided great feedback, and helped tailor the instruction as to what I needed."
"I will most definitely be recommending any and everyone I can to this location. The classroom portion was engaging and entertaining. I loved how the teacher would make personal connections to the topics we were being taught in class. This made them more relatable, even to someone like me, who had extremely limited driving experience at the time, and in turn, the relatability made it more understandable. One of the main reasons I picked this location was because of its extremely convenient weekend classes. Being a high school student, that kind of weekend availability was imperative to my being able to attend the classes. It was very easy to make friends with not just the other students, but the teacher as well and these new bonds were strengthened by the teamwork used to play some of the jeopardy-style games. The atmosphere was so great that regardless of whether you were on the losing team or the winning team, you still had a blast playing. To sweeten the deal further, on the last day of the classroom portion, we celebrated with a pizza party. The driving portion was great. During my first lesson, I definitely wasn't that good (remember that limited driving experience I mentioned earlier?.. yeah). But I ended up driving really well since my instructor was very thorough in explaining to me what it was I needed to work on. For the driving portion, you shouldn't be depending solely on this, or any, driving academy to absolutely perfect your driving skills. The instructor will teach what needs to be taught and evaluate what needs to be evaluated and it's your job as the student to listen carefully and practice as much as you need to. If you do your part like you're supposed to, you'll be just fine :) I went from my definition of "Goodness gracious I cannot stay in my lane for my life" to "This is a breeze" and this great improvement was achieved due to the spectacular work on the Academy's part as well as my own ability to listen to my instructor's evaluation and practice, practice, practice. If you're considering this location, you should definitely go for it."
"Enrolled our daughter for driving class July2. Was told AFTER she completed her classroom portion she would not be driving until Nov. That is not acceptable. You have to go online once they pass the written classroom portion to sign up for driving and the next class was Nov 15, four months later. How is this good practice. My child would have forgotten everything she has learned in four months. The administration acted like this was no big deal. I would not have enrolled my daughter in this school if I knew ahead of time this was their practice. So BE WARNED. Oh did I mention you can't sign up for all driving sessions at once. You have to complete day 1 of driving then go online to schedule day 2 which at this rate would be another four months. NOT HAPPY."
"I attended this driving school in the summer of 2013. I looked around for driving schools and I think this is the only one I felt really welcomed and wanted once entering the school. They are willing and wanting to help us be safe drivers and learn the rules of the road. It is a family feel and I enjoyed every day of my two weeks there. I would defiantly recommend anyone to attend this school."
