"Pharmacy Issues. The lines are very long as well as the waiting time. Even if you call and activate the meds. They did not give the entire prescription. The amount was supposed to be a total of 15 pens. 5 in each box this is clearly written on the prescription and container. They only gave me 1 box with the 5 pens. When I expressed my concerns they told Me To “talk to your doctor “. I’ve been taking these meds for some time and my doctor already knows the amount I should have received because he prescribed it to me. I will never use this pharmacy again."
"I am seeing a lot of 1 star reviews but personally I had a very positive experience here. I checked in to the primary urgent care on a Thursday around 1pm and was met with very friendly front desk staff. The paperwork was simple and they had brought me back to an exam room within 5 minutes. Given, I was the only person there at the moment. While I was waiting, 3 more patients came in. I was seen by a PA a couple minutes after entering my exam room. She quickly examined me and prescribed me medication, as well as put in a referral for me to be seen by a specialist. The whole visit maybe lasted 10-15 minutes from start to finish and by the time I exited, the next two patients that came in after me had already been brought back to their exam rooms as well. I am currently waiting to pick up my medication from the pharmacy and have been told that I will have to wait around an hour to receive my medication. Considering how large this facility is and the time it takes to create this medication, I think the wait time is very reasonable. Overall, I have been having a very positive experience thus far and am happy to see this type of care be available for military service members and their families."
"It's bad when you are told at your orientation by the facilitator that you have a 50/50 chance to land at a Securitas site with good management. I should have read in between the lines. Unfortunately, I landed at the bad 50. Three weeks in to my new job at Dumfries Health Center and I was threatened and assaulted by the Securitas supervisor, Sgt. LaMorris E Harper. When I reported it to my District Manager Juan Denmark, he laughed at me. After I followed up with him to inquire about the status of the investigation a few days later, he became belligerent and told me he wasn't going to take any actions against the supervisor and that I need to "know my role!" HR stated that they would be happy to move me to another site over an hour away (one-way). I am still wondering why I am the one being moved when I did nothing wrong? Even better, the entire incident was caught on CCTV cameras and there were numerous witnesses to verify the assault. Needless to say, I unfortunately resigned due to obvious safety concerns and lack of support and accountability from corporate. What a horrible experience from the nation's largest security corporation!! As many prior and current employees frequently state on Indeed and Glassdoor reviews, it seems like Securitas will hire anyone who has a heartbeat. I am speechless with how I was treated by this company. The demand to keep a site fully staffed seems to over-ride ethics and integrity. There is zero accountability for unethical behavior with this company. Use caution if you are planning on working for them, as they will not have your back if you experience interpersonal problems on the job. Apparently workplace violence and hostile workplace behavior is tolerated here, not to mention the officers are lazy, incompetent, and break almost every major compliance and human relations policies there are. What can you expect though when their employees come from the same labor pool as retail, fast-food, and sanitation workers? Securitas is the exact reason why the world lack complete and utter faith in the private security industry and look at us security guards as clowns and rent-a-cops. What a world that we live in where employers can now get away with hurting and bullying their employees and the departments which are created to defend us against harrassment won't lift a finger to help!! It's not surprising how many civil litigations are taken against Securitas annually, not to forget the thousands of back-door negoiations where Securitas settle behind closed doors to avoid exposure for the unethical and unprofessional behavior of their team. I trusted that if I maintained my composure and upheld my professional demeanor when this supervisor squared up on me in front of not only the CCTV cameras but numerous witnesses, the "system" would work for me. I could of easily defended myself and caused a scene for the client in their lobby. Unfortunately my professional discretion wasn't given a second look. Human Resources for Securitas did absolutely NOTHING to hold Harper or Denmark accountable. How safe do you feel working for a company knowing that you can be assaulted by members of your team and nothing will be done to protect you?? Thank you to all of the healthcare team that assisted me with training. This was Securitas' responsibility, not yours. Big shout out to Patient Concierge Helen Hunt for the time she took to teach me the policies. I hope that you guys can find a security team that actually perform proper weapons checks. I hope that you find officers who don't sneak off of site for breaks, who don't harass your staff so much that staff members choose to enter through side entrances, who do not use vulgar language in front of visitors, who do not shop online on the lobby computer, who dont sleep in the guard shack or on the 4th floor wing where there are no cameras, and who can keep their faces off of their cellphones long enough to perform access control duties."
"We left here after a miserable seven years. The service provided here is unacceptable and no one working or in charge there is interested in changing that. I’ve had to wait almost two hours in the waiting room with unhappy toddlers for scheduled appointments. I’ve had appointments canceled without notification. If you ever do get to your appointment, doctors are rushed and focused on their computer instead of you. The pharmacy here should be considered a health hazard- literally hours long waits even if you just need to pick it up. The physicians here are OK at best (doesn’t get any better then OK). I’ve tried to express concerns to leadership and all I’m met with is excuses- understaffing, over scheduling, they’re “working on it” (after seven years, no you are not)To treat service members, veterans, and their families this way is disgusting."
"I had previously given Dumfries a good rating. Wait some time and they will dissapoint you. I have messaged multiple times to get no response from anyone. Then when i did get any sort of message it was just a lab notes that I should know is what labs they have ordered for me. How am I supposed to know this, no one messaged me or called. Maybe you should call them every day. Maybe that will get a better response. I will leave this practice the first chance I get."
