"If you're thinking about moving to this area... DON'T DO IT!! We moved from Baltimore County to Howard County to give our children a better education. This school is absolutely horrible! Reminds you of Baltimore City schools. My child has been bullied since day one. I've gotten the Board of Education involved because the school does NOTHING. And then when my child decides to retaliate she gets in trouble for doing so. They have ABSOLUTELY NO CONTROL HERE! Do your child a favor and give them better. It has been confirmed from the Board of Education that the school does have behavioral issues and that they recently changed staff beginning 2017 for improvement. None made. If I could give this school 0 stars I would. Now we'll be moving once again so that my child does not have to endure this for another year. Very sad."
"Honestly I feel like the school needs more involved staff who listen to the students and parents issues with the school and try to fix the problems with how the school runs. The staff isn’t so bad, but there are some teachers who really need to retire, and though the school population is annoying, they are acting out because they don’t like how they are being treated. The biggest problem with the students are definitely that they think they should be treated like 25 year olds, and given the respect of your average adult, even though the ages of the people at the school are 11-14. Also, more communication with the students would be helpful, because I go to this school, and nobody ever knows what’s going on with the rules or even whatthe rules of the school are."
"Hey, look at this review! Read it! Look, people may say that this school has “ghetto students” and “fights 24/7”, but that’s at every school, isn’t it? Every school has fights, let’s face it. There are fights at rich schools! So if you’re going to go to this school soon, just know that it’s a great school. The teachers are nice, the students are nice, so actually get to know the students. They’re not all bad."
"This school is terrible when i went hear i couldnt tell if it was a dumpster or an actaul school the teachers sit at their desk and eat their food while they give us Garbage projects that dont teach us anything i learned that pre school is better then this school. My gym teacher ways over 300 LBS."
"I really hate this school! The teachers don't even try and don't care about when kids get hurt! I still gave 2 stars though because some teachers try. Some teachers come to this school every day to try to make a difference, and they help to change the school bit by bit. But other than that, this school is ghetto and its horrible don't EVER go here!"
