Celebree School of Melford

"Me and my wife had to remove our child from this disaster of a daycare, months ago, after one of there teachers called child protective services on us being they thought we abused our child. CPS went to the school and observed our child without us knowing then came to our house unannounced. Me and my wife were dumbfounded. They didn't know what Mongolian spots (pigmentation in children of color) even though we let them know of his condition when he came to that Daycare. They have high turnover in teachers so your child will never get comfortable with a teacher. Place is a money grab, I recommend parents of children of color not support this location. Child protection case was closed in 2 days after pediatrician gave the CPS agent his medical records. But we will always have this traumatic experience in our minds. We thought of taking legal action but after speaking to our lawyer they recommended leaving a review to warn other families in the future is the best option. Don't let this happen to your child."

"I can’t say enough positive words about my experience here. The staff, manager and owner are very warm and really helpful. I didn’t feel like we were just a number. They were also very understanding about some complexities with my child’s enrollment and helped me work everything out. I was very lucky to get in as they were just opening and secured an infant slot which is very hard to come by in this area. The infant teachers are fantastic and attentive to my child’s needs. It has been a pleasure being here and I hope to use them for other children in the future."

"Celebree of Melford has been my saving grace after not one, not two, but THREE failed daycare experiences in one year. We were heartbroken, searching for care on short notice and struggling to trust anyone with my almost 1.5 year old when we found this daycare and secured an opening. We have been there since day one of them opening their doors and have been thoroughly impressed by every single staff member here, from the owners to the directors to the teachers and aids. They are all very kind and amazing with my son. Every person in the building knows him by name and he has so much fun everyday. His teachers love him. They value my input and work with my child’s ever changing needs, so we can be a care TEAM instead of two separate units who operate accordingly. I love it here so much and highly recommend it to other families."
