"Just one of the seldomly visited stores, of the franchise where I purchase the the necessary food products. Best believe, can always catch sales or cheaper buy than other supermarket franchises! This particular one is very spacious. Glad this one is open, later than other places in this section of the city!"
"Forget problems with customer service or an out-of-date product, this is possibly the worst offense I have EVER seen a business commit. The management at this store, either on their own, or through coordinated corporate approval, has allowed homeless / illegal aliens, to use the seating area of their store as a hang-out. This action is putting customers directly is harm's way. I recommend that anyone concerned for their personal safety should avoid this store completely until which time this highly risky situation changes. I will be contacting the corporate office to see if they are allowing this to occur at other locations. What is mind-blowing is the fact that when I told the security officer who was watching the other end of the store to forget about people stealing and to stand at the other end to protect the customers, he told me they were allowing this to regularly occur. He continued to tell me that "they don't bother anyone". When I asked the obvious questions about his knowledge of how much he knew about these young men, he admitted he didn't know if they were migrants, drug users, require medicine for a mental issue, or had a criminal history. They all had backpacks, and none were checked for weapons. Try learning how fast someone can cover distance and stab you with a knife. Carrying a firearm is useless if you've suddenly been attacked with a knife from behind. You can easily be stabbed 5-10 times before trying to pull a firearm, and that is if you're even capable at that point. If you spill a liquid on the floor in a market, they will rush to clean it up for fear of being sued. Just imagine if one of these people attack a customer and injure or kill them. That will surely be a lawsuit. The MASSIVE violation to customer safety that is being allowed, is beyond all reasoning. It breaks every safety policy in the business world."
"I enjoy nothing more than coming off an 18hr shift and being belittled by the miserable woman “working” the self checkout because 1 of my items didn’t scan. Sorry boss, I’ll do better next time to remember what items can be scanned and which ones have to be manually typed in. I’ve been coming to this store less and less. I don’t see coming back unless I’m an apocalypse survivor scouring the dusty shelves for the last overlooked can of peas."
"I have shopped at this Giant faithfully since it's opening. Their service was great back then and there was a welcoming atmosphere. I was spending over $1000 a month on groceries here. The past year, I have been taking most of my business elsewhere and after today, I will no longer shop here. The cashiers I have come across lately are rude and act like I'm a burden to serve. I don't like to do self service because I want to support the employees. I was a cashier years ago and have worked in retail and I made sure to greet the customers and be helpful. I'm very disappointed with how things are going at this store. The lottery cashier is very nice. I wish she worked the registers."
"This is our local Giant and we often come here to shop. They had a deal on lobster tales so my wife ran in to the seafood dept. She had said the guy was so rude and acted like it was an inconvenience for him to assist my wife. This is not the first time she said that he was ignorant. The rest of the staff are friendly but this guy has to go."
