Parkdale High School

"The principal Mrs. Grace-Henderson and assistant Principal Mrs. Hawkins are racist against whites or biracial children. They can talk to you however they want and take no responsibility of their actions. The school has chose to let my daughter fail after months of my request of meetings and me getting the run around. I have contacted the B.O.E to make complaints.The staff has been told to be more concerned with uniform than the children's education. All of this approved by the principal. This is my childs last year of high school and this year at Parkdale has been the worst with the principal and her assistant actions getting worse."

"I am currently a freshmen attending Parkdale, and I hate it. While I'll admit that there are two teachers that I love along with a stellar group of friends, the old building is dirty, most of the student body is rude and disrespectful to everyone, the teachers teach /at/ you rather than /to/ you (although this seems to be the norm within this country), and overall the work is a waste of my time. If you're considering either going to Parkdale or sending your child to Parkdale, I'll save you at least a year of pain by informing you that you /should not/ go/have your child go unless you're absolutely out of options. My parents are currently reviewing private schools for both by little brother (who would normally be going to Greenbelt Middle School, which was another horrible experience for me) and I, and the only thing I'll regret when I depart is the fact that I had to waste a year of my precious time at this school."

"I like it so far, I just wish there was no uniform tho in pg county! Anyway, it doesn't really matter to me cos I'm almost done, but I really like it that there is IB program! It's awesome"
