"We Have not had a great experience since my kids started here 12/2016. My daughter is special needs and had learning needs. She Attends learning centers every year at ESY (summer school)so when we moved the last school and Case Management Worker for my daughter and myself suggested that my daughter attend learning centers. So when I enrolled my daughter they proceeded to tell me they did not have learning centers at the school. So I asked for her to be sent to appropriate school, they said that they wanted to work with her for a semester and we would see if she needed to change after that and get IEP review. *Well with little progress and the same learning issues for the last 7 years they would not change her and never spoke of it again. So she was passed to the next grade and not knowing anymore than before. But they say because she had missed time due to medical/health reason that's why she cannot progress!!! But this is not the reason. She had a learning disability And when they tested her over a year and a half.. BUT THEY REFUSED TO TEST FOR AUTISM!! AND SHE HAD SIGNS OF ASPERGERS!! So when I asked why they didn't...they say they don't think she has it!!! But they DON'T KNOW WHAT HER DIAGNOSIS OR LEARNING DISABILITY IS!!! WTH!!! But I do have to say that.... Some of the teachers are awesome and some of the staff also. But there are some that need to go out the door! The Vice Principle talks DOWN & AT people. Which is unexceptable!!! I have no use for this person!! And I have Absolutely NO USE or TOLERANCE for the Parent Coordinator@Oak View Elementarty-M#.*****!! (#*THERE IS ANOTHER PARENT COORDINATOR WHO WORKS @NEW HAMPSHIRE ESTATES & HELPS OUT@ OAK VIEW, BUT HE IS NOT ANYTHING LIKE THIS COORDINATOR!!!*#) M#.***** is nothing But a Coniving,Instigating, Lying and a Trouble- maker, who if this person can cause problems for you they will. The parent coordinator is the type of person who will talk nice to your face, but in the same minute turn around and stab you in the back!! And will try to talk with your children and then twist what was discussed with your child into the way they put it. This is what the parent coordinator has done to my daughter. And has lied about a serious situation in my family has been caught in the LIE! And the staff knows this. With this LIE,IT HAS CAUSED KAOS IN MY FAMILIES LIFE!!! I can lose everything I have because of this Parent Coordinator!! This coord. acts like they want to help you, but in reality they are out to wreck peoples lives!!! PEOPLE LIKE THIS SHOULD NOT BE IN THIS POSITION!!!! Children and families are at stake!! And she is into hurting and breaking up people/families that they do not know or even have a clue to what their lives or situations are all about!! Someone needs to do something about this person! **This person has a position to help children and families,but they are taking advantage of their position and abusing it.** I have found out that there are things that I can do to try take appropriate steps to move forward in the right direction to get this issue hopefully resolved and stop the ABUSE of HARASSMENT & DISCRIMINATION to ME & MY CHILDREN!!!"
