Reviews of Briggs Chaney Middle School.
"Mr.Milauskas was the highlight of my middle school years. He likes rubber chickens.. To be completely honest, I wish all future students good luck if they get Mrs.Calhoun as a teacher... In my opinion, her teaching skills don't fit my learning style.. This applies for 9/10 students. In conclusion, good luck to all. Overall, the school is very diverse and provides a large variety of different courses to take. ;)"
"Ima just say the bad things first then the good things. BAD STUFF: -Many teachers can't understand sarcasm -1-3 fights every single day (either in the lunchroom, outdoors, or the bus lines) -really noisy at the bus lines. -teachers that don't care if your starving or not. -really long lunch lines that take forever (like the give you only three minutes to eat) -teachers that don't give a cake about how you feel (but the counselors) -Stupid rallies or whatever it's called that make you feel bad about yourself afterwards. -the meat taste bad in lunch -really confusing teachers -each period will provide a test per week (basically 7 test) -the p.e. Teachers don't care if you feel like fainting. ------- (I can't believe there is) GOOD THINGS: -The pb&j is good. -some teachers are nice -they let you eat whenever in the classroom if it's from the "share table" -they allow phones in the classroom once in awhile ------- I once cried during Spanish class and no one gave a cake about it till my friends in my science class noticed and cared; not the teach. This school made me consider being homeschooled so much. It made me feel depressed and made my depression worse. This school doesn't understand how kids feel when they want to just die. I considered suicide cause of this school. I would like to say thank you; thank you so much for make a ex-suicidal girl feel the need to let go of everything. This school is the reason why I cry every night. I hope they reconsider what they have done. The only reason I gave this school 2 stars is because of the teachers that actual care about how kids feel and my friends that made me feel like my life is a beauty. I really could have gave this school a star (aka 1 star)."
"It's an okay school some teachers suck. And sometimes you might pass out in their class. But there are not fights everyday, it's not loud and it matters who you meld yourself with. If you have good friends then you will never be bored and you will be fine. There are a lot good teachers there willing to actually teacher but there are teachers who are giving you book work and expecting you to pass. My only advice is come to our school where we are the home the Bears and we always expect the best!"
"Worst school ever, there is a fight almost every day, the teachers don't even teach you (Only two teachers are good), the principal is some trash, and SO many people get bullied. I would go to a new school but I can't. Don't let your kid go to this school. It's not worth your time."
"If the school counselor is any indication of how the school is ran, then this place is lack luster at best. How hard is it to register kids for classes by the first day of school? It's not new, nor is it Rocket Science. Larger schools have no issues placing kids in classes on the very same day paper work is turned in. What if the students were to follow suit and sit on their assignments for two weeks like it's no big deal? Gotta do better people...or retire and make room for people with excelling attitudes."
