"Most teachers are pretty okay, and a couple of excellent ones really stand out. (Barnisky, Park, lookin' at you) The one department that really sticks out is the special ed teachers, who barely understand what they're supposed to be doing, are more hindrance than help, treat their students like mentally impaired toddlers, and nag them for stupid reasons. They don't provide help when needed, but then: "oh, you're working in a class that you've never had trouble with? here's an assistant teacher who should be considered special ed themselves". They get parents involved over menial things, making the student out to be the "bad guy", sometimes bending facts or outright lying. As if that wasn't bad enough, the students are just awful. Passive aggressive special little snowflakes, willing to shove and hit and taunt because you walk funny, absolute degenerates who come into bathrooms and harass people who are using the stalls, people who scream and hit things while playing ASMR through the classroom computers' speakers, and generally the kind of person you would try to avoid at all costs. School is shockingly well funded, but they still use this awful desk-chair all in one piece that is absolute hell to use if you're taller than the average fifth grader. The school is large enough, but the intersections in hallways can take whole minutes to get through if you don't push people out of the way. And pretty much everyone does that. Bathrooms are in abysmal conditions, with floors constantly wet from god knows what, toilet paper being removed from stalls, and barely functioning sinks. Classrooms are well set up If you can, avoid raising your kids in this area, as they have pretty much no other choice to go here, and I guarantee that they're not going to be happy going here. P.S. I'm using an alt account because I go here and I'm a little wuss who's afraid of facing their actions."
"I love this school. Love the teachers and students. People there are very friendly. There are many talents in this school that I've never seen in any other. I guess it's because there a free time for students to chase and develop what they like. I will always remember and respect this highschool. "
"I only know that Domics came here and it's supposably really patriotic also I heard about Unicorn Dr. and I can't find that anywhere"
"Love this school! And yes, just as you've seen from Domics on YouTube , its in the middle of the South Riding neighborhood and there actually is a Unicorn Drive, Justice Drive, Equality Drive ,etc."
"I went to Freedom all four years. I'd say it's an average school right now, but it's getting better because of the new principle. There are some amazing teachers and some terrible teachers. I've been lucky to have had most of the amazing teachers. The best thing about Freedom is that 95% of the teachers and staff will try their hardest to help the students succeed. The worst thing is the lack of school spirit and unity. There really isn't a point in having school spirit week because barely anybody does it! But, I think Mr. Fulton will help to unify the school. But, the worst of all are the parents! The parent who wrote a review and called the kids who don't do as well "loser kids" is a perfect example of how judgmental many adults are around here. Of course, they pass this onto their kids who go to our school and spread this negative attitude around. And, watch out for the parents who gossip about students to other parents, teachers, and even other students. I think that group calls themselves "The Book Club". Yeah, don't tell them anything."
