Patient First Primary and Urgent Care - Waldorf

"I felt my visit was rushed. The physician didn't spend time explaining my xray results or explaining treatment options. I had to ask questions. The intial meeting was cold and wasn't welcoming. I felt like although I was amongst my ethnic group of physicians and medical assistants, I was greeted better by the xray assistant and medical assistant that was of the opposite race. The black receptionist was very friendly. I wished I had received a referral to a orthopedic but the doctor only told me to come back if my pain was persistent. Very dry and cold. I'm not use to clinicians not being friendly. I understand the job and the long hours but just feel that the same warm welcome opposite races and the attention get should be the same for everyone. I originally elected to get my prescription filled at the center but after that experience I just left. I had better experience at Medstar Urgent care and I think that's where I'll if I need to next time."

"Overall great experience. There was a long wait however there were a lot of people so the wait time was expected. I liked the option to wait in my car and see the queue list. Having that queue list definitely helps with a longer wait time. Staff was very professional and responsive to my needs. I would definitely use again and recommend them."

"Every time I come I have a great experience but this last one was especially amazing. The wait wasn’t long and the nurses who did my intake were very attentive and helpful. I was seen by Dr. Melinda Sutton and she was amazing. She listened to me about my symptoms, was very detailed while explaining my condition and medications and even gave me some tips about other things she noticed going on with me. This was the first time I truly felt seen and heard my a doctor I almost cried. I will definitely recommend Patient Fist to anybody!"

From the person that registered me, to the nurse, especially the X-ray tech and the super personable doctor I was treated like royalty. The X-ray tech explained along the process and checked in several times on my comfort. The doctor found a common interest and used it to explain why I should follow his orders - an AHA moment for me.
