"I will always recommend Doctor Josephine to every single person I know. She is the most gentle, compassionate, and thorough provider that I have ever met. She has such an empathetic approach, and makes me feel heard. She genuinely cares about you, as a person - not just as a patient. Even when her schedule is booked, she goes out of her way to make sure I am okay and see me if she is able to. I have never had to wait for refills or referrals - I receive them immediately. Im currently a medical student, and I hope to be as wonderful to my own patients as she is to me! If you are looking for a primary care physician, look no further. :)"
"I like the doctor however, she is very slow and do not follow up in a timely manner. I’ve waited weeks for very important results. I was in so much uncomfortableness for days and no call back or check up. I called every day and the front desk would say they will call back and will never. I believe her front desk staff are for the most part straight out of school which means they are not trained staff. I would have gone to an urgent care but it’s COVID-19 and I’ve already paid my fees to the doctor. The front desk turnover is like every 3 months. Most of the time the front desk can be rude but I believe it comes from the defense of the frustrations of the patients."
"I absolutely love this doctor. I have kept her over the years and through 3 different insurances. I even don’t mind some co-pays when I can get most of my care for free at the VA. Some of the front desk staff however, are disorganized, don’t follow through with lab results before calling for unnecessary referrals. I gave my complaint to the doctor in the past about a very serious matter at the front desk, and she dealt with it immediately. I will give these ladies a year to get it together before I mention names and the lack of basic medical knowledge to work in a doctor’s office. Although I get unnecessary calls for a referral I no-longer need, I do appreciate the calls instead of no call when something is wrong with you, or gone unchecked. It’s all a matter of perspective. The only time something would go unchecked with this doctor is if you forget to say something!"
"Front desk staff is rude, useless, slow moving and unintelligent. My mom broke her leg and is having trouble on crutches. I asked for a wheel chair or a wheelie desk chair as my mom hobbled the long walk with unsteady crutches. They told me to wait as they stared lifelessly at a screen. I lost patience watching my mom struggle and afraid she would fall (again) and went and grabbed one of the several empty ones from behind the desk. I rushed and rescued my mom. Then they took it away from her, saying that it wasn’t a wheel chair! I have never wanted to punch anyone before now. Bad enough they pretend to be busy when they are empty, acting as though my mother’s emergency surgery blood work was an inconvenience to their “busy” schedule. “They won’t have it in time for the surgery, so long as they are fine with that. “ oh I’m sorry, does this emergency inconvenience you?? Please save yourself the headache and choose a different healthcare provider."
