"I won't tell anyone not to go to this practice. However, you should be aware that if you value respect & courtesy from your doctor's office, you won't get it here. I give them 2 stars only because of the compassion and professionalism of the providers I've seen, Dr. Prince and Barbara Nelson. But similar to the prior reviewer, I found the front office, particularly the receptionist and office supervisor, Miss Gaskins, challenging at best to deal with. My phone calls are frequently placed on hold without even a greeting, and then never answered. And that's if the receptionist picks up at all. When I do finally get to someone, my attempts to address concerns are met with disdain, condescension, and interruptions. The overall communication tone has been unprofessional, significantly impacting my overall satisfaction with the practice. I have therefore decided to find another primary care physician, and I think that's unfortunate. I doubt the providers know their staff are treating patients this way."
"Very rare for me to give negative reviews but, sadly, although the medical personnel have been good, I can no longer recommend this office after being a patient for over 20 years. Imho Appointment accessibility has not always been bad, but is at best inconsistent now. Latest problem extended, through many call and message attempts, over 2+ weeks. Telephone system? is appalling. Receptionists are usually pleasant and mostly willing to help, but imho the higher level office administration shows little patient empathy or accountability. (I.e. Refused facility to email concerns. *Initially refused opportunity to discuss concerns in detail in private. *Refused an appointment to discuss with Office Manager at a mutually convenient time). After two weeks of problems culminating in a wasted ineffective visit, with an unforgettable exchange with the Office Manager in the hallway in public. I never did get to see any medical personnel, so I obtained my referral next day elsewhere. *On return home a call was received from the Office Manager who "had issues" with my account of the last two weeks, and alleged that I had been "yelling" at her receptionist? The Office Manager apologized for; - inappropriate notation by admin on my patient portal record, - the phone system which was known to have (serious?) problems and - for "the way I feel". - 24+ hours to get triaged resulting in a referral to go direct to ER. - 8 more days to get a follow up appointment. (ER requested I attend within 2 days). - (No reminders, so I called 2:40pm day before to verify appointment. Auto message said I was "calling out of normal office hours"). - On the day of the appointment, no appointment was found not to exist.. ...and very sadly, so, so, much more.."
"DO NOT GO HERE!! I went in Feb and march. They sent me a bill and I paid it. Fast forward to November I get a bill in the mail from them. I have tried to call numerous times and you can’t get through to anyone. I called my insurance and they explained the provide price went up and they re-submitted my claim 7 MONTHS LATER! My only Choice is to pay said bill. So be prepared they will come after you months after being seen. Not to mention they ask questions during a physical and if you answer they charge you an office visit."
"I was not in the market looking for a new primary doctor, but after what I encountered with the office staff today, I will be now. Its a shame since I liked my primary (Rosie), but the office staff are unprofessional and rude. I had a 6 month check-up schedule for today which was canceled. I understand things come up. However, dealing with the office staff to reschedule has been a nightmare. Not only being put on hold by one of the staff the second time I called, but she never returned. They also can't even get me in for a morning appointment with my primary and brushed off I need to either see someone else on staff if I want a morning appointment or find time in the afternoons which is hectic for me. Seeing someone else defeats the purpose of seeing your primary who you have a relationship with knowing your medical history and who requested a follow up to begin with. Don't bother with this place."
"Last week me and my husband had a chance to visit our new Dr office, I'm not sure way they had bad reviews but our office experience was awesome. The receptionist greeted us and the triage nurse checked us in, We meet with Dr.Filani he is new to this office ,he was AWSOME as well. He took good care of us. When we was all done , Ms. Destiny the exit receptionist was very nice and polite. Like I said this was an awesome doctors office. Thank you Maryland primary care physician for an outstanding and excellent job."
