"I have been a patient here for many years, but I have finally decided to change doctors. I always have to wait 20/30/40 minutes to be seen after my appointment time. Most recently, I went in for a preoperative visit, and while I was there, I asked about support with weight management since I was going to be recovering from back surgery. I was told the purpose of my appointment was preoperative work, and in order to get support with weight management, I would need to make another appointment and come back in at a later date. I had to have an EKG, and they told me that at 45, I had an irregular heartbeat and required I go to a heart specialist. I took my results and went to a heart specialist and was told my results were not abnormal and was then cleared for surgery. I had to pay a copay for my preoperative, a copay for the heart Dr, and additional fees for the 2nd unnecessary EKG. Over the years, the level of service, professionalism, and quality of care has definitely declined with the practice."
"If I could give less than 1 star I would. Saw a NP that wanted to treat anxiety with benadryl. Finally got to a Dr who helped me (dr Nikou) who apparently is no longer with the practice. No one called me to let me know. I left 2 msgs to get a refill (and the pharmacy callee several times too) without response. Finally got to an office person who said "we are understaffed so you just need to keep calling" then said i need to come in before a refill. This was not for a controlled substance. I expressed some personal medical issues that prevented me from coming in and she flat out didnt care. She was nasty and clearly she either hated her job or hated dealing with people. I cannot believe how poorly i was treated here"
"I have been trying to get a prescription sent over to my pharmacy for two weeks now. Half the time I cant get a hold of a medical assistant, and have to leave a message which they NEVER return. When I speak with them, they tell me that they sent it over yet my pharmacy has nothing from them. I shouldn't have to call every hour on the hour to try and get a hold of someone. I am still waiting for a phone call back trying to resolve this. I would give one or no stars but I think Dr Jaffa as a doctor is great. It is everything else I am struggling with."
"From checking in, to getting vitals taken and meeting with the doctor, I am always leaving with my mind at ease! Amazing doctors. Anywhere from referring me to the proper Surgeons or making sure my medication is covered or refilled. I cannot thank both Dr.McCoy & Dr.Jaffa and their staff enough! "The staff here work hard and are friendly. As for primary care, I see Dr. Jaffa and from my experience, she is professional, effecient with test/refill requests and takes time to really listen to what you have to say. She genuinely wants to get to know you and your individual situation and delivers thorough care. She also worked with my insurance to make sure they covered medication that they normally would not have covered for me. I'm not sure how typical that is, but I made the request and got the confirmation that my meds would be covered within a week and a half. Thanks Dr. Jaffa!"
